    .CBZ file downloaded as .Epub

Hello I have comics set up in Emby and when i go to download the file on my phone through the app to read it, it adds .epub to the end of the file string and turns it into a text document rather then a zip file.

    Aplicativos de samrt tv

Bom dia! É possível fazer a instalação do app em smart tvs por meio de pendrive? Ou somente pela loja da smart tv?
  4. I recently set up Emby and I am doing the initial sync. I am trying to turn off 'download artwork and metadata from the internet' but the checkbox just returns to on every time. How can I make this turn off?
  5. Has anyone else had the issue of Emby downloads on Android never fully completing successfully? I've been troubleshooting this on and off for almost a year now and would love to get to the bottom of it. On any 4G/LTE network or WiFi that is not my home network, Emby will constantly reset a download, never fully completing most of the time. At home, so long as I'm on my WiFi, it works like a charm. Halp!

    Downlad does not start

Hi there! I use emby Version 3.2.30.0 on a synology disk station. So far it runs well. I purchasesd emby permiere because i need the downlad to device feature for offline listening. On my android device i tab on the download butten e.q. in a album view. The download gets prepared an after the transcoding i see the download on the server with the hin "ready for download". On my Android device i see the "ready for download" also in the download settings menu. But the download never starts. I can not find any button or whatever to start it. If i tab on the prepared ready for doenload object i get a menu with a save button at the end. If i tab that the menu closes and nothing happens. How can i start the download???? It is very sad that this feature isnt working because it is the reason why i switched to emby. Hopefully someone ot there with a solution? Greetings Alex Ah i dont know if its important but most of my music files have flac encoding.
  8. I'm trying to convert a few TV seasons to stick onto an old Android phone with a 32GB card. small screen, small processor, so I wanted it in low quality instead of what I had saved. I can see on the server dashboard that the job has been converted but I'm having trouble getting the file to transfer to the phone's internal storage (can't save to external due to security issue with the phone unrelated to Emby). So, since I've already converted the low quality file, can I just copy that from the server onto the card, mount the card to the phone, and bickety bam, low qual tv seasons on a device that is good for nothing but that? So, where is the server storing these low quality conversions? The path I designated for transcode temp storage is empty (it is a whole partition on a hard drive, the whole thing is empty). When I look in the C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server folder and poke around I dont see anything that looks like what I want. That whole folder is 1.3GB , is that the right size or are my episodes hiding there somewhere? Am I barking up the wrong tree, is there a way to have Emby convert down a queue of files to low quality and save it directly to a USB drive? I feel like this download system is a black box as far as my understanding goes. I've got server logs for the most recent episode I set to download, in case that helps. Thanks!
  9. I'm going to be going away without internet access next month, so I thought I'd try out the sync feature on my Windows tablet (proper Windows 10, not RT) and get a few tv shows and movies synced to it in lower quality (to save space on the small 32gb MicroSD card) than I could get by just copying the files directly. Plus, I'd rather use an Emby GUI as an interface while watching media. I've tried both "Sync" and "Download" in the dashboard web app, Emby Theater, and Ember; all with the same problems: Titles seem to get stuck on either queued, or ready to transfer. I've removed and restarted them multiple times, to no avail. the few times I had a notification telling me something completed downloading, when I went offline on my tablet, the files either weren't there, or wouldn't play (black screen). I've tried setting the sync/download folders to my tablets internal storage, as well as an external MicroSD card (preferable, as I don't have much internal storage). Also, I'm a little confused as to the difference between "Sync" and "Download". Which would be preferable in my case, where I'd like to conserve disk space for offline viewing? I don't care which app I use, whether it's Emby Theater, or Ember; as long as I can get it working by next month. Let me know if there's any more information that might help. I've removed all of my sync jobs, so I can start from a clean slate; hopefully with some guidance. Thanks, Patrick
  10. I have been a long time fan of Emby, especially Emby for WMC, I now have win 10,so I had to find a way to still run WMC. Thankfully it was a very easy fix and now have WMC running on win 10,But I have tried to download theatre version (2.5.37) from the website and it downloads quarter of the way then comes up with an error:" Error Downloading Package. There maybe be a problem communicating with the update server, please try again" "System.Net.WebException" Exception occurred during a webclient request. our net is fine and have downloaded other programs without issue... regards Brett
  11. EDIT: There is a temporary fix for the issue below, please see tehfist's answer. Hello! I am seeing a problem when trying to download subtitles from opensubtitles. I will always get a 403 error regardless of the movie I choose to refresh. According to the API a 403 means "SubHashes (content and sent subhash) are not same!". I have no clue what this means. Thanks! ps. I am not over the anti-leech since I've been trying this for days with only a couple of movies. Download Administration.

Just an idea but would be really useful if there was a way to administrate users downloads like be able to view progress of downloads, change speeds so if there was a download you wanted to give higher priority over another, ability to cancel downloads.
  13. Hello, I'm beginning with emby it's wonderfull I share my media with family but i have a little server so i only allow external users downloading and not playing files. It's work perfectely but i was borring because my family can download film/serie but can't download subtitle... even if i have it on server and i can play serie with subtitle with webapp. Anybody have a idea or suggestion ? Thanks
  14. Hi @@Luke, please take a look at https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/pull/1793 I guess this will solve an issue I found yesterday about Emby not downloading non-US images with priority , ignoring user preferences of metadata download in languages, for cases where country code has region.
  15. I'm having a real issue in downloading the current version of Emby Server for Windows. I can download the setup file but when I click run, I am getting an error stating that it can not download the application from the server (see the log file attachment). I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks! RedCatcher VSD7FC9.tmp.zip

    Canceling file download

Hi, Is there a way to cancel file download? If I start to download a movie/file but change my mind and want to cancel it always resumes. I've turned off Wifi, mobile data and even restart my phone. But as soon as I have wifi (at home) or mobile connection the Android download manager resumes the download. Thanks
  17. Hello Community, I have installed the recent release Version 3.0.5782.0 on a Raspberry Pi with OSMC Jessie. The Movie-Database is working fine. But when I try to download a movie (I've tried with FF and Google Chrome) the memory usage increases over 80% and the emby-server crashes (emby-server service stops) after maximum 70 MB. The strange is, when I try to download with a android phone the download works and the memory usage stays on about 50%. In the version before I didn't have this issue. Somebody have an idea what is going on?
  18. Hi guys, I'm looking for a way to run a script after subtitles are downloaded. Should I modify the sources, or do I have a better user-friendly solution for that? Thanks

    Download vom Server

  20. Hi Emby Team, Would it be possible to add the ability for the various actors, producers, directors etc to be downloaded when collections are being compiled. The metadata screen actually has spaces for all the various metadata downloaded and collected for individual films and TV shows like genre, plot, studio etc. And The Movie Database actually has this information but it's not downloaded. If that was possible then when we look through collections we could click on an actor and see what other films and TV series they also appear in. I think this would be a bring a welcome dimention to the collections feature. Thanks for the great work thus far though guys, been using this for years and it still continues to amaze with it's developments. Thanks in anticipation, Lloyd.
  21. In library manager it's possible to download images for a given item from either - data found by scrappers online, or - local folders In addition, it would be nice if we could just copy/past an url to an image file. Thanks for your awesome work.
  22. I just noticed that the Download option isnt available when you use MB Connect to connect to MB server. If i use my URL, the option is there. MB server: 3.0.5518.2/3 MB Connect: My URL:

    Channel Downloading

A quick question about channel downloading. I have recently added some RSS feeds to the podcast plugin. I enabled channel downloading (due to slow connection speeds for the server) and fired off the scheduled task to download the latest several episodes of my favorite podcasts. I configured the downloaded content that is older than 14 days to be automatically deleted. I now have a HUGE number of files in the downloads directory (I think because the podcasts I subscribed to have RSS dating all the way back to 2012) and I the task has been running for close to a week now without stopping. Here is the question: does the server track how old the podcast content is based on the day it was downloaded (I assume the creation time of the file) or by the publication date of the specified episode? Or is the above behavior a bug?
  24. I think this is tagged correctly as a Server feature request, but it would require something on the clients too. We regularly go on long car journeys, and my kids and my wife like to watch films on their android tablets and windows laptops. Because our library is all very high quality, high bitrate stuff, and as there is no decent connection to stream them, I need to find out what they want before we leave, and then encode the file for them before we leave, and then copy it onto their individual devices. What would be really cool would be if, for example, my daughter wanted to watch Harry Potter on her Nexus 7, she could just navigate to it in the Media Browser app and have the option to download to her device. This would download a lower bitrate version of the film (maybe dictated by the transcoding settings on the client) suitable for her 16GB tablet, held locally on this machine. I'm not sure if this is as simple as I think it is, or if there are legal/copyright barriers but this functionality would be very useful to my family! BTW great work so far, loving Media Browser 3! *Edit* OK, not the best title! How do I change it?
  25. I am looking for a small tutorial or where to download the apk for the android app to sideload it? I didn't see it in the download section. Many thanks for whom can assist.
