  1. @LukeFound in Beta, and reproduced in Stable 4.8.1.0 Now that OpenSubtitles have SDH indicators in search results: the expectation was that when downloaded they would be named accordingly so that "Hearing Impaired" info was retained. However, files are downloaded and are missing the appropriate ".en.sdh.srt" Was able to reproduce with different media, same result. Log attached is for the above example. embyserver.txt
  2. Hello everyone, I'm a new emby user since a week or two. But there is a problem that keeps occuring. When a streamed a video to my chromecast it showed subtitles, but this was only the first day. Now when I try to stream the same movie (or other) it doesn't show any subtitles. When I pauze the video on mobile when it shows a subtitle and than stream it, it will show that sentence for a split second and nothing after. Context: - I run my emby server on a synology - I use opensubtitles as automatic source - self added subtitles are having the correct naming (showed at the ? in emby) - I have searched the forum but didn't come across some solution Thanks for helping.
  3. Hi all, opensubtitles doesn't seem to wok anymore. I think since the last plugin update. Is there a known issue? 5. The Edit Subtitles context menu option on a Movie Collection item presents a Search for Subtitles dialog. It appears that the Filename, instead of the title and year information from the Media item, is used to perform the such. This results in non-matching items, due to media file naming conventions conflicting with the opensubtitles provider. Further, it would be useful to be able to upload a subtitle file in this dialog, as an alternative.
  6. After investigating my lack of subtitles, I found that my opensubtitles free account no longer existed. I registered a new one with the same email address and verified it. I can now login to the website and search for subtitles there. However, updating the login credentials in the plugin still fails to produce subtitles. My embyserver log shows an HTTP error 520. Is anyone else getting this? Looks like either they've blackballed the API used by Emby or the plugin needs an update. Subtitle downloading is not working

Hi, I tried downloading subs for shows and it's not working. I tried fixing my credentials, deleting the plugin erasing the .dll files and reinstalling them, and checking if the subs exist on the plugin websites (they do) and trying multiple shows. I've attached my logs below. Thanks in advance! Emby log.zip
  10. Subtitle search has not been working for about 6 months for me now. I have tried reinstalling opensubs plugin, Addic7ed, etc. But still do not work. Emby says "No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading?" I have tried searching subtitles for titles that where automatically found before. Attached is my server log. embyserver.txt

    Disable automatic subtitles

Trying to download forced subs so I can enjoy the foreign language parts of The Mummy (1999). I can search subtitles no problem, but encounter an error trying to download them. Check the plugin settings, disable VPN, check my login info on opensubtitles.org only to find that I hit my maximum download limit. Puzzled, I click my opensubs account to find it downloaded subtitles for my entire tv library. Not newly added content, but a subtitle file for every episode of King of the Hill and every other tv show in my library. In easy to understand language, how do I turn this off? I don't want my IP banner from opensubs and I'd rather just have manual downloading for subtitles. How long do I have to wait for my limit to reset so I can watch my movie?
  12. Hi, I use emby to try and automatically download subtitles, but it doesn't work in 90% of the cases, because there is not an exact checksum match. The only other option there is is to not require a hash match, but then you are actually playing russian roulette, and have a lot of wrong out of sync subtitles. What would be a killer feature, is if there was a third option, that would try and match the media type, since in most cases if you'll find a similar subtitle, and in most cases that will fit the movie or TV show. So if for example the source file has bluray in the filename, then try and download a subtitle version that also has bluray in the title. Same goes for web-dl/webdl and DVD. HD would is mostly cut manually so that won't work that well so I would not include that. The resolution doesn't matter. So a 1080p art file almost always works for a 720p or 2160p version. it's a simple request, but it would actually automate what I now do manually for almost all movies and series, end do a better job then any other scoring mechanism. Would it be possible to add this feature please ? I'd be eternally grateful Thank you, Edd.
  13. EDIT: There is a temporary fix for the issue below, please see tehfist's answer. Hello! I am seeing a problem when trying to download subtitles from opensubtitles. I will always get a 403 error regardless of the movie I choose to refresh. According to the API a 403 means "SubHashes (content and sent subhash) are not same!". I have no clue what this means. Thanks! ps. I am not over the anti-leech since I've been trying this for days with only a couple of movies. 15. Hello ppl. There are a problem with the subtitles language selection in MBS in automatic subtitles download from opesubtitles. There are no Portuguese (from Portugal) or Brazilian Portuguese, just Portuguese from Angola. In opensubtitles only exists portuguese and brazilian portuguese and if I set it to portuguese from Angola in MBS, it doesn't find any subtitles. (btw it has a char encoding problem) Portuguese (Angola) language option in MBS, the only portuguese option: The available portuguese options in opensubtitles: subtitles search in MBS: subtitles search in opensubtitles:
