When attempting video playback in my browser, I get this error and the attached logs indicate: /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg: /usr/lib/libOpenCL.so.1: no version information available (required by /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg) /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg: /usr/lib/libOpenCL.so.1: no version information available (required by /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg) /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg: symbol lookup error: /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg: undefined symbol: clCreateImage, version OPENCL_1.2 I can play the files on my mobile however. Hi, a friend of mine that uses my server has an iphone and suddenly he is not able to watch anything on the app, always showing no available streams or nothing at all, closing the video player. The Android app, web, tv all working fine, except the ios app. Is there any known issue that might be causing this issue? embyserver.txt

Bonjour, Tout d'abord, merci de l'attention que vous porterez à mon problème. J'ai installé un serveur Emby sur mon ancien téléphone Android. Après y avoir ajouté mes films, je tente de les lire sur d'autres appareils. Sur un Android, avec l'application Emby et en local, la lecture des films se fait sans difficulté et en très bonne qualité, aucun soucis sur ce point. Cependant si j'essaie sur un navigateur en local (même réseau WiFi) ou en distant, sur réseau mobile ou sur un autre réseau WiFi que mon serveur, le film charge pendant 10/15 secondes et m'affiche l'erreur : Aucun flux compatible, contactez votre administrateur système. PS when I say folder I mean folder / library. I have 1 folder per library. So yes, I know there's already 1000 of threads about this exact error. But mine seems to be different. First of all, I recently had this exact error with some new movie files, which had really really long titles (and the folder where the file was in, had the same super long title). It gave me this same error every time, until I shortened the folder and video file. Strange, but okay, solved easily. Now I have this same error, but a different issue, with my 1 folder of HDR demo files. They're all short 1/2 minute files, all in the same folder. All stopped working. They worked before. I don't think I've changed any setting on my demo folder. BUT when I take one of these files, and move it to my movie folder, then play it from Emby, it works. BTW the demo folder hasn't worked in months, but they worked before that. I just want to fix it now. So I guess it must be somehow setting related. So I compared the settings for both folders. And as far as I can see, they're exactly the same. Strange, right? Any ideas? Can it somehow have to do with the fact that the files are short in time? I think the demo folder is set up as a TV show library, but I can't find where I check that. It does have some other tv-show related settings which my movie folder doesn't have. Could that be it? I looked at other threads with this error but it looks like 10 different issues all gives this same error, and also many people said: do: "PKG install ffmpeg" but I'm pretty sure that's not a thing on a server running windows, right? And yes I can probably fix it by making a new (movie) library for this folder and solve it that way, but I rather know what is happening for next time. -
Xbox - Trailers - No compatible streams are currently available.

Hi, only just noticed this tonight but when attempting to play a trailer via Emby Theatre app on the Xbox I receive the following message "Playback error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." Just checked the same in the iOS, Web and OSX apps and trailers play fine. Never tried this on the xbox before so not sure if an error or whether I need to config something first, any ideas? Thanks. -
Hi i just upgraded the two e5-2620 v4 for two E5-2698 v4 and restarted the server and now i have No compatible streams are currently available but only on live tv i checked and all the streams are fine though VLC player here is the server log embyserver.txt and hardware detection any help would be great thanks hardware_detection-63769812755.txt

I converted an iTunes m4v file to mp4 on my Mac and then loaded it to the emby server...however when I try to play the file, I get an error stating "No compatible streams are currently available." I'm very new to emby so I don't know the system very well but any help would be appreciated. embyserver.txt embyserver-63725319937.txt

So I just installed Emby and finally was able to get everything configured to the point where I was ready to watch a movie and once I clicked on play i am getting this error " Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. This is happening on both TV Shows and Movies and I am not sure on how to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Not sure how many log files to upload and I am currently on Linux Mint (Latest Version) and I am also running the latest version of Emby Server as well. If you need anymore information please let me know. I also wanted to add that I have my media sources going to a webdav folder as well where all of my tv shows and movies are stored. Hello, I just upgraded to the new version of emby server Version 3.2.60.0 about 2 days ago and ever since then I have not been able to play any content: music, tv shows, or movies. I have tried the web interface on firefox as well as the android app but the error message is the same: Playback Error. No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. I have tried rebooting the server through the admin panel several times as well as restarting the physical server. Below I have attached the server logs and the transcoding logs. I have tried several types of media all of which I know worked in the past. The only thing I saw in the logs that was weird was "Permission denied" but like I said, it all worked before the update so I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Hello, My Emby server has been running smoothly for about a month now and I have had no problems. Yesterday evening, for no apparant reason, I stopped being able to stream any TV shows or Movies. I first noticed this on the server itself when I tried to play a show while working at another computer. The show page loaded, then when I clicked 'play' on the episode Emby loaded the playback screen with the loading wheel. After a few seconds, I got an error stating "No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." I am not sure what this means. I have confirmed that the bitrate limit field in the settings is blank. There was no one else streaming anything at that time. I replicated the problem on my phone (over LAN and then WAN). I restarted the emby server, same error. I restarted my windows PC and applied windows updates and same error. I have tried to use a couple of different accounts on a couple of devices and have not been able to play anything back. Error logs from my last attempt attached. Is Emby currently able to set up backups for M3U streams? For example, if I'm streaming Fox from link A thru Emby and all of a sudden link A goes down, is there a way for Emby to automatically start streaming from link A's backup Link B. If Emby is not currently capable of doing this then is there something already in the works or does anyone know of a third party plugin able to achieve this?

i would like to not allow them to stream more than x amount per logon as there sharing passwords and manualy enforcing is a pita ... plex can do this ... its the reason i still push it over emby but i like embys abuilty to limit bandwith at user level not server

One thing I noticed that TVHeadEnd does that Emby DVR does not do yet has to do with keeping tuner utilization down when watching multiple subchannels on the same tv stream. For instance, on TVHeadEnd, when I watch/record something on 12.1 and 12.2 at the same time, it will only use one tuner and split the streams out properly. On Emby, it uses two tuners to do the same, even though both of them are tuning to the exact same frequency. I believe implementing this feature would help reduce the number of recording conflicts seen on people's systems where a tuner isn't available. It should also help with network utilization as there is no need for two duplicate streams just to receive and strip out the ones you want. Great software though. I am moving from a TVHeadEnd/Plex setup on a computer to Emby on a Synology DS918+. Both setups are/were utilizing HDHomeRuns for the tuners. I am extremely happy with it, so much so that I sprung for the lifetime subscription. This is certainly software worth supporting.

Hi Is it possible to use play on to stream to multiple devices at the same time? for exempel, i have a Netflix account that i sett upp on a play on server, i have installed the play on plugin in Emby-server and i can conneckt and start a stream from netflix. But if i start a new stream on a onther device it stops playing on the first device. (my Netflix account is for 4 streams at the same time if that makes a differens) /Regards
