Hi everyone, I need some help with setting up an Emby Docker container on my Raspberry Pi 4 running Rocky Linux 9. This is what I see in the Transcoding log: The issue is that I don't see the hardware acceleration option in the Emby menu. Can anyone please advise me on what might be wrong? I'm setting up live TV through NextPVR and I cannot get Emby Guide Data to accept my UK postcode (format: AA99AA). I'm a premiere member, so from what I've read in other posts, it should work? Is it perhaps a syntax parsing issue? I've seen that before with developers from other countries implementing postcode parsing. E.G. some postcodes are AA999AA, and often there is a space included eg: NG32 3ND. Alas, there's no tooltips to help to indicate what the program is expecting in terms of formatting.

Hi ! i would like to know how premium subscription can help us with emby. We are 600 users using emby for home-made videos such as football clips. One of the biggest problem is here, we can't use emby app. We can only use the website. It's a little embarassing since some persons would like to watch on differents support such like TV. Is there a way to have a subscription able to handle "more than 600 users" ? Thanks !

Sorry to have to post this but after over an hour of searching and not finding a solid answer I'm getting frustrated. I am trying to move from Plex to Emby. I have a lot of users I wish to share my server with. I paid for Premier, which I understand gives me 25 "premier devices", which I understand to be the ones listed here: Emby Premiere Feature Matrix : Emby My question is... when I invite someone to join my server, are they just freely able to use up these 25 licenses as they please with no way for me to control it besides to approve every single new device manually? I do see an option in my user settings where I can untick "enable access from all devices", but I don't want my users to rely on my approval constantly. I want them to be able to sign in as they please. What I don't want, is for the first handful of users I invite to gobble up all of my device limits. I would like to reserve the premier device access I am paying for, for my family. And for my invited guest users to have the option to purchase premier themselves if they want to use a premier device. Otherwise, I want them restricted to devices that allow full playback without counting towards my quota. So...yeah, I guess that's my question. When I start inviting people, are they just going to have free reign to use up my access until it's all gone? What happens when the limit is reached? Will me and my family have no options besides to purchase even more licenses, which will then get eaten up like the other ones without my control? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi, I did a quick look around and coulnd't see this already requested. In the app could we get a setting that allows us to change the Emby logo to another image of our own and the wording next to it for premier users. It would look amazing to have our own logo and server name shown here instead and if were paying subscribers. Incentive to get emby premier for those who don't already too.

It would be great if you can include custom branding at least for premium users. Emby is an awesome package. I used plex premium and loved the features in emby and switched. I bought lifetime subscription as well. But it is so disappointing that the premium users doesn't get to show their logo in clients applications. I am not asking for app icon change or even changing app name. Just a logo and some text somewhere inside apps to brand ourselves.

I've been running Emby Premier for around six months with no issues. The other day I tried to connect from my Android device and it wouldn't connect. I finally got around to trying to troubleshoot and I'm not able to make any headway. The localhost:8096 doesn't load in either Chrome or Firefox. I tried downloading and installing over my current sever. I have tried restarting the service and rebooting my computer. Should I do a clean uninstall and then reinstall from scratch? I run Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas?

Hi there I installed Emby on my iOS Ipad. I then subscribed to Emby Premier through the app. I received a receipt of purchase email from Apple. Within the Emby app however, it does not appear to recognize that I have made the purchase. I click the restore purchase link and nothing happens. I did not receive an email from Emby giving any sort of emby premier pin to enter into my server. Any ideas? thank you for your help!

Hi all, Let me start off by saying I am glad to be done with Plex and Emby feels MUCH more consistent if not a little quirky so I bought a lifetime preimer pass, love it. So I'm stoked to be using emby. I started using emby in a VM but noticed my disk ops were bottle-necking emby so I installed Emby on a dedicated machine with the following specs: Intel Core i7-4770K 16GB DDR3 Ram Drives: OS Drive 128GB SSD, DVR Drive 1TB 7200RPM HDD, Media Drive 3TB 7200RPM NAS HDD Operating System: Window 10 Pro Build 1909 Patched all the way up HD Home Run PRIME TV Tuner while up front everything will be on 1 3TB disk I will be going out later today to buy 2 more 3TB Disks so that each library can live on their own disk. My Questions concerns are these: Why is there a considerable lag when loading titles? It takes about 12 seconds for a movie to start playing after I choose play.Full disclosure I'm still copying over media to this server but I don't think that should be an issue. There are gaps in guide. I can see all the channels my HD Home Run is reporting but some channels have no guide info but will stream. I have read on the sub that putting in a 10-series GPU helps? Can anyone explain this or let me know where I can go to read more about this / enable? The android app doesnt seem to be working great. It always gives me the option to sign into connect even though I'm pretty sure I've already done that, It's laggy and I'm not sure if that's my server or the app, other issues I'm not able to articulate quite yet. does the community have any thoughts on my setup and how I can solve the 4 issues above? probably a stupid thing to ask, but if i pay for the lifetime thingy, do i still have to pay for the android app? or can i have say 5 users that have full acces with what ever device once they connect to my server? thanks for wasting time on my stupidity <3

Hello Good day To whom it may concern: I only have a couple of questions and curiosities, update my server to the latest version 4.0.2.0 and I see that I have the "Get Emby Premier" button in all sessions / users that I have registered on my server. 1) when you buy Emby Premier, the button mentioned for my users is deleted ?? 2) how long does the membership last? 3) when the Emby platform migrates from server, what happens with the Key? I'm having an issue where any video file I have downloaded onto my phone crashes the whole app after playing for a couple of seconds. I can direct play the same files from my server with no issues but if it is locally downloaded it will crash. I can pause the video and skip forward to another point so I can see the whole file is downloaded but it will still immediately crash. Iphone XS running IOS 12 and latest version of emby 1.6.2 Server running as a docker on unraid version 3.5.3.0 Thanks.

We just moved and before we did, our Emby was recording to my Western Digital Cloud just fine. Now that we moved, my LiveTV is not recording to my WD My Cloud 4 TB correctly. Ubuntu Version: 16.04.4 LTS WD My Cloud Firmware Version: 2.30.193 1) The directory that is set up in Emby for this Library: /media/mlapoint/SharedVideos/TV/Recordings 2) The directory that the file actually was recorded in which I believe is the default directory: /var/lib/emby/data/livetv/recordings All of the directories in the entire structure are set as 777 in #1 and they are owned by either root or mlapoint (my user-id).
