The problem seems to be resolved this morning. I was able to activate the key without any issues this morning. I think OVH had network disruptions last night, hence the problem I experienced. They kept me up all night doing things for nothing. They haven't even responded to my ticket yet Thanks everyone, and sorry for bothering you with this.

Hallo Emby-Team und Community, ich nutze den Emby Media Server seit Kurzem und habe ihn erfolgreich mit dem Alexa Skill verbunden, inklusive HTTPS-Zugriff über die FRITZ!Box. Grundsätzlich funktioniert der Skill, aber ich stoße auf ein sehr hartnäckiges Problem bei der Suche und Wiedergabe von Musik nach Künstlern/Interpreten. Was funktioniert (sehr gut): Skill-Aktivierung: "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, ..." (Meine Anrede von Alexa ist Echo) Grundlegende Wiedergabesteuerung: "Pause", "Skip" (ohne vorheriges, erneutes "Echos, sag Emby Zuhause...") Abspielen von Zufallsmusik: "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, ein paar Lieder zu spielen." Abspielen spezifischer Titel: "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, den Titel [Titelname] zu spielen." (Hier ist das explizite Wort "Titel" entscheidend!) Wichtig ist, Emby mit "Emby Zuhause" anzusprechen." Emby" alleine funktioniert nicht! Was nicht funktioniert (Kernproblem): Ich kann keine Musik gezielt nach Künstler/Interpret/Artist abspielen. Alexa antwortet entweder mit "Das angefragte Medien konnte nicht in der Bibliothek gefunden werden" (wenn der Skill erkannt wird) oder versucht, die Anfrage an Amazon Music/Spotify weiterzuleiten. Ich habe folgende Befehle und Varianten mehrfach und präzise getestet, alle ohne Erfolg für die Künstler-Suche: "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel Musik von [Künstlername]." "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel Lieder von [Künstlername]." "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel [Künstlername]." (Direktaufruf) "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel Musik vom Künstler [Künstlername]." "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel Musik vom Interpret [Künstlername]." "Echo, sag Emby Zuhause, spiel Musik vom Artist [Künstlername]." Alle der oben genannten Befehle auch mit dem Wort "Songs" statt "Lieder"/"Musik". Meine Beobachtung / Vermutung: Es scheint, als ob die deutsche Spracherkennung des Emby Skills für die Kategorie "Künstler" (ähnlich wie "Interpret" oder "Artist") nicht richtig implementiert ist oder das entsprechende "Kategorie"-Wort nicht erkannt wird. Beim Abspielen eines Titels funktioniert es nur, wenn explizit das Wort "Titel" genannt wird. Es wirkt so, als ob der Skill eine sehr spezifische, "denglische" Grammatik erwartet, die aber für Künstler fehlt oder unnatürlich ist. Meine Musikbibliothek in Emby ist sauber benannt und die Metadaten sind korrekt (Emby findet die Titel ja, wenn ich "den Titel" nenne). Der Emby Server Log zeigt auch keine Fehler bei den Suchanfragen für Künstler. Wunsch an die Entwickler: Könnte das Emby-Team bitte die Spracherkennung für die Suche nach Künstlern/Interpreten im deutschen Alexa Skill überprüfen und optimieren? Eine offizielle Liste der funktionierenden deutschen Sprachbefehle (insbesondere für Musik-Kategorien wie Künstler, Album, Wiedergabeliste) wäre extrem hilfreich. Vielen Dank für Eure Unterstützung! Are there any plans for the emby team to maintain a home assistant integration? The current integration is very lacking compared to the plex and jellyfin integrations and the custom HACS addon https://github.com/rumbu13/ha-mediabrowser which is no longer developed has stopped working as of the 07.2025 home assistant update. Seriously considering moving to plex or jellyfin due to this

You tell MUMC which users and libraries to monitor. In the configuration manager you can choose to: Individually select users and libraries. Select only users; libraries automatically selected according to each user's access policy. Select only libraries; all selected libraries applied to all users according to each user's access policy. Select nothing; all libraries selected for all users according to each user's access policy. Open an issue in the MUMC github to get help.

I am trying to delete files from Dynamic Nodes defined as Home Video & Photos content, but they are not being removed. Fwiw, I've raised this same issue with a previous version which was resolved here. Hopefully this is the same issue - if not, I can provide an updated log file.

Ya, it does show access denied error but it actually deletes the directory which you will notice after you restart the server i.e. you will be greeted with fresh welcome/setup screen.

I have just tried a test restore from windows onto ubuntu emby server and then went through a delete playlist The playlist path was similar to yours When attempting to delete that playlist on linux, there was a dialogue box asking for confirmation. In my test on emby server 4.9.1.4, it showed it was trying to delete /var/lib/emby and when i said go ahead, it failed with Access Denied So there is protection against this and in any case the use of the Backup and Restore plugins stipulates in the documentation here that all paths must remain the same. The only reference to changing platforms on restore is in the manual backup section and in this you are expected to handle each component yourself and you would need to manually edit the database I would agree with this

use case: watch any channel decide you want to record the show as a one time thing, click record then decide actually you'd rather not record this show, so you click record, it then moves to series record realize you really screwed up, so go to recording icon and hold down center button, a popup appears. you pick "cancel series". you think it'd stop recording the series but not the particular episode you're on. you'd be wrong, it appears to do nothing. then you hold down the center button again on the recording icon and select cancel recording. this will in fact stop the recording you're on. however, if you later decide that you want to record only this episode, and click the recording icon again on live tv, it will default to series recording on, and won't let you record only the episode you're on. you're stuck in the loop above. this seems like a bug?

I could be watching on one of many android devices. It'd be extra nice if there was a way to sync all my settings from one device to another. Server settings seem set up this way (modify once, effective everywhere) but individual apps not.

Any news about trailer language?
