    Edit chromecast main page

Hi! First of all, congratulations to develop this magnificent app. I have a request, but I don't think that it's possible (hopefully yes). Is there any way I can edit the content of the ChromeCast main window (screensaver)? Like logo, message "Ready to cast" and the background. It would be great if it could be edited, especially to translate that message into Spanish in the Emby Server options. Thank you so much for your attention. Kindly regards.
  2. Is this supported by the web-app?

How to edit FFMPEG command line

Hey, I've looked all over the forums for an answer to this, even an indirect answer to no avail. I would like to use more settings than the ones on the web portal for transcoding(i.e.: changing framerates, etc.) with FFMPEG but can;t find any documentation on how to edit the ffmpeg command parameters. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  4. Somewhat related to the Bulk Edit of Metadata feature request ( https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/42975-bulk-edit-metadata/ ), I'd love to be able to specify a different Metadata Provider on a per-metadata basis. My desire for this comes from learning of the tradeoffs between the two main providers, OMDB and TMDB, as talked about in this thread ( https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/43818-three-genre-limit/&do=findComment&comment=409723 ), which indicates that OMDB tends to have user-preferred Ratings data, while TMDB tends to provide more Genres (OMDB apparently just provides the first 3). So, it would be nifty if I could set my default Metadata Provider as OMDB, but override that to be TMDB for something Genres (or any other piece of metadata). Then I'd get the best of both worlds. Edit: Wanted to clarify that upon further investigation it seems it isn't clear cut which provider lists more Genres. OMDB seems to cap it a 3, but that doesn't guarantee that other providers will actually have more Genres listed. I still think this Feature Request has merit (as the Genre thing was just an example), but wanted to clarify my misinformation from above. PS - If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request.
  5. Is this possible? I really like the Home Video type of library for content that isn't well-suited to being found in online databases. So long as the library is organized by folders, and the filenames are descriptive Emby presents the media in a useful way. Not every type of media is suited to the metadata, classified and renamed from online data presentation. The obvious next step, when one notices some organization/renaming is needed is to edit the name right in Emby Theater (or Android phone, or iOS). It is possible to edit the name, but not the filename from which the name is derived (I'm assuming Emby server creates a name from the filename, which must get stored somewhere as metadata). Really, for this type of media I don't want to get into the metadata thing at all. I would like to just use the filename and editing it from within Emby would be so useful. Editing filenames from within Movies or TV libraries would be pretty cool also, but Home Video is the obvious use case. Keep up the good work, thank you.
  6. Hi there.. Something strange happends when i want to delete a label in a movie for example, the window is floating down an nothing will be deleted.
  7. Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a batch/multiple edit media function for the Emby server? can't work out if I am just missing how to do it, or if its not possible? I want to edit my movie genres but do not want to go through them individually. ie. similar 'batch edit' function that PLEX employs? searching the Emby fourms I have seen requests for this function, but these requests were over a year ago. Likewise with 'Playlists'... is there not a smart playlist function? thanks for any assistants.
  8. The last 2 beta versions of emby server 3.0.5925.0 I am unable to open any titles in ie or chrome (Version 49.0.2623.110 m) when I click on a title from the home screen it goes into that folder i.e. animation but it will not open the title it just shows the spinning circle and freezes up. It seems to affect emby for wmc as it also will not load any images not already in place i.e. some actor images are blank. This has happened before but a normal reboot would fix it, now it does not. I am also having an issue with special features in movies and tv shows. I label them something like Deleted Scenes or The Making of Jurassic Park. When emby server dos a full refresh for that title it renames them all Jurassic park instead of using the file names. I then need to go in and edit them in emby server to match the file name. The loge file is below. http://pastebin.com/04jnVuZz

    DLNA Profile edition

While eiditing DLNA profiles from the dashboard I noticed there is no way to actually edit Codec Profiles conditions... the dialog box shown only allows for Codec name capture and type selection but no options for actual conditions are shown. Is this still under development? Edit: Using Dev Version 3.0.5244.3878
