emby APP on my Firestick stream personal video upside down or sideways

I have emby APP installed on my Synology NAS. If I use my Roku Ultra (also using emby APP) to stream personal videos from my Synology server, everything is working good. If I use my Amazon FireStick (with emby APP), a lot of my videos are upside down or sideways. Videos were recorded using my iPhone. Thanks -
My application is paid for by Amazon, and every time I turn on my fire stick to use emby it keeps loading infinitely and it doesn't automatically connect the already saved user, I need to go to fire stick settings every time, in applications, emby app and clear the data, after that it works normally, but if I exit emby to access any other app and don't run emby on the fire stick for a while, I need to clear the app's data again to use it. This has been happening for a while now, a while ago this didn't happen, can you tell me why this happens? If I access the web via PC or cell phone it works normally... VID_20240415_191025.mp4

Since the issue with the plugin that caused the servers to not start, I have had quite a few users not able to login remotely with the Emby App. I have verified the proper port forwarding, and had the users uninstall and reinstall the app and they consistently get a connection error. They are able to access from a web browser with no issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

So I've been beginning to setup cloudflare for my Emby server. Now I was wondering for anyone that has had experience doing this that may be able to shed some light on my concern ( I know there are more than a couple of threads but nothing really touching on this). I use Firesticks and occasionally Chromecasts mainly as my client devices (mixed with some iPhones). All of these devices REQUIRE a signed cert in order to connect and stream from while using the Emby built apps. I am currently using Lets Encrypt for my domain. I was wondering now, if I go through cloudflare and have to use their SSL, will that cause issues with such devices? I am very interested in using this method, but losing the functionality of those client platforms would be a deal breaker. I am new to the Emby World , I have the client working on iphone but on firestick have an issue. App is installed get the screen to use the emby connect . logged into emby connect enter pin number and nothing much happens i dont see my server. I am using the admin login so it should not be an issue at all. WHen i click next it asked me to enter my i[ address . Doe someone have an answer thanks

Been having an issue lately that I have gotten more intimate with the quarantines going on. Over the past couple of days when an active recording on Live TV is happening, I selected the channel via the guide with the active recording and opted to play from beginning. Sometimes it will hang at the spinning circle, other times it will load a frozen frame and sit (my sever shows it is streaming with the time counter moving forward), and sometimes it will stream for a couple seconds then hang up (server side showing it is still streaming). When checking the server side it has sometimes showed direct playing and other times showed transcoding, however end issue is consistent regardless. If I play the channel that is being recorded and play live, there are no issues. I had a similar issue on my PS4 as well a few weeks back (previous server release) where I was playing an active recording from the beginning but could not fast forward or rewind without it going all the way back to the beginning of the recording. Tuner is an HDHomerun Prime and I have a dedicated Readynas Ultra 6 upgraded to 4GB of RAM and OS 6.10.3, 6x2tb drives Raid 5 for DVR. Performance of the NAS is not an issue. My Emby server runs on a Windows Server 2008 R2 VM with plenty of resources on a SATA SSD with 310GB of local storage available to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I sent in the log from the fire stick Emby app. Additional details request for posting logs are below: I was clicking resume on a 4k HVEC file of "The Martian". This occurred on 3/24/2020 at 11:39 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). The name of the local user logged in was "Michael". If there is more information needed please let me know. The 4k video is in .mkv format and for what I can see in the dashboard while attempting to play the video is it tried to convert it to a format but stops and attempts 3 times. Then on the firestick give the error "Too many errors". Thanks for the assistance.

Subtitles not working Fire Stick, Windows 10, emby 4.3.1.0

The subtitles are not working during playback and not automatically downloading like i think they are supposed to be since I have signed up for Open Subtitles. And even when I download the exact subtitles for my video file, I cannot make them display. There is not the option to select the subtitles even when I place them in the same folder video file. They used to work ok, until about the time I updated to 4.3.1.0. -
APP EMBY on Amazon Fire TV Stick - Basic -->No Trailer????

Hello, I bought the Amazon USB / HDMI dongle, the Amazon Fire Stick - Basic. (Https://www.amazon.com/Fire-Stick-Basic-International-Version/dp/B01ETRGE7M/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1534066629&sr=8-11&keywords=fire+stick) It is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to everyone. I then downloaded the "Emby for Fire TV" app and PAY IT for to use it and to give you support. It works very well, however I would like to ask you if it is possible to insert the possibility to see the trailers (because I have not been able to use them) as you can do with the pc browser version of your program / server. I remain available for information about it and thank you for any reports / suggestions. -
End User Experience for FireTv/Stick users after server upgrade

On any major or minor server update, ie (3.x to 4x. or 4.0.x to 4.1.x) our remote users have to remove their configuration (reset cache and data) and re-enter the server information on fire sticks and fire tvs. Otherwise they are unable to login. This has been the case for the last couple years on emby. I've validated this on several of our emby systems (we have several servers). Any ideas? I've filed a bug here -

I'm regularly having to force stop Emby in my Fire TV's settings. This topic is covered in this thread(https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/48586-firestick-black-screen-when-opening-emby/) but it is from June 2017 and I have not found anything more recent. Has this been addressed since then? I am experiencing exactly what is being described in the thread, IE black screen after returning to Fire TV home and then restarting Emby after using another app. It's not the end of the world to have to force stop constantly but it seems like something that should have been dealt with if it was known about over a year ago. Have I missed some update? I am currently running Version 3.5.2.0 on Amazon Fire from a Windows 7 PC.

I wanted to install Kodi on Firestick and found this guide. Kodi on Firestick - Jailbreak Firestick I got Kodi successfully, they have also provided guide to install Unofficial Youtube TV App. Is anybody using Youtube TV APP? Is there any way to get original Youtube. I tried to find on Google and Youtube but I can't get. Any help would be appreciated.

I have emby installed on my Window PC which is acting as my media server. I also have it installed on all my firesticks. The issue is that when i launch emby on my firestick it is seeing my local media server but doesnt connect. I get server unable do you want to remove error. I am using the In-Home (LAN) access ip address that is shown in the Admin settings. Any help?

Emby on Firestick doesn't start with Paired Bluetooth speakers

I have my Gen1 Firestick connected to Epson 2045 Projector which is paired with Yamaha Receiver thru Bluetooth. Emby app doesn't start and shows a blank screen when it's paired via bluetooth already. ( same happens when i pair Firestick with any bluetooth speaker connected to my TV ). If i unpair bluetooth speaker, emby opens up without any issue and i can quickly try to pair bluetooth speaker while Emby is opened in background and can use Emby then. I have tried to sideload Android Emby app onto Firestick and was able to use it when paired with bluetooth. Sorry for the repost, posting it with proper title to see if any others having same issue. So got the firestick for Christmas. Installed Emby. After the entering the pin and getting the confirmed and thank you I Tried to login manually on firestick with emby user id and password and it tells me Invalid user id or password. I've tried selecting the log in with Connect on firestick but it just freezes up the entire screen for a good 3 minutes and does not let me log in. I've uninstalled the app and deleted data and cache several times. Each time I have the same result. I am seeing that I'm on the server because I see the user ids to choose from. I see my user id too and click on it and I still get invalid user id or password. I'm able to log on to the emby website with my user id and password just fine. Any ideas?
