Been having an issue lately that I have gotten more intimate with the quarantines going on. Over the past couple of days when an active recording on Live TV is happening, I selected the channel via the guide with the active recording and opted to play from beginning. Sometimes it will hang at the spinning circle, other times it will load a frozen frame and sit (my sever shows it is streaming with the time counter moving forward), and sometimes it will stream for a couple seconds then hang up (server side showing it is still streaming). When checking the server side it has sometimes showed direct playing and other times showed transcoding, however end issue is consistent regardless. If I play the channel that is being recorded and play live, there are no issues. I had a similar issue on my PS4 as well a few weeks back (previous server release) where I was playing an active recording from the beginning but could not fast forward or rewind without it going all the way back to the beginning of the recording. Tuner is an HDHomerun Prime and I have a dedicated Readynas Ultra 6 upgraded to 4GB of RAM and OS 6.10.3, 6x2tb drives Raid 5 for DVR. Performance of the NAS is not an issue. My Emby server runs on a Windows Server 2008 R2 VM with plenty of resources on a SATA SSD with 310GB of local storage available to it. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried using the new active recording feature to watch something as it is being recorded via Edge browser on a Windows 10 machine. Video worked fine but there was no audio. I tried playing Jungle 2 Jungle (pre-recorded) on the same system and it had sound. I went back to the Active Recording and again, no sound. I pulled up the same thing on a different computer (also Edge + Windows 10) and no audio there either. The audio layer on it is AC3, 48000 Hz, 6ch, 384 kbps. Pretty standard stuff for ATSC. Live TV Active Recording Stops When Watching from Emby Server Console
Sam865 posted a topic in Live TV
I'm having sporadic problems with live TV recordings terminating before their scheduled end time during the active recording phase. The problem seems to occur when I try to play an active recording (from the Emby Media Server console) while the show is still being recorded, Watching (especially using pause, rewind, or fast forward) appears to cause the recording to stop. (I'm not sure whether watching while recording is the real cause of the problem, or if it's just a coincidence.) If you're not supposed to watch until the recording is complete and moved out of the temporary storage area, I can just stop doing that if it solves the problem. Can someone confirm whether this is expected behavior or not? I'm running Emby Server build 3.0.5724.6 with HDHomerun Prime 3-tuner (current firmware). I've attached a log file that may offer a clue to what is happening. (It contains information about a recording of Scorpion from 9/5/15 that failed just under 15 minutes into the program.). I had been watching the program at about this time and had pressed pause. When I tried to start watching again, the recording had ended. I'm using no plugins other than SchedulesDirect. Running Emby Server on an 8-core i7 4790 CPU with 16GB RAM. and Windows 10 64-bit OS. I've attached the first log file I could find that has a time stamp just after the active recording stopped (just under 15 minutes into the program) and it may not be relevant.
