Hi, I have a question regarding the integration of Emby and Google TV "services". Should Emby work with my GoogleTV homescreen? I have noticed some differences between AndroidTV and GoogleTV, mainly the disappearance of the "Watch on Emby" button for shows listen on my GoogleTV home screen. I friend of mine has an older Sony TV with Android TV which does provide this functionality. It seems this has changed in GoogleTV using more cloud like features, providing support for Netflix and Disney+, but Emby is not listed. To be clear, this functionality has never worked on this GoogleTV TV, I have been using Emby on it for about a year. The Emby app itself works fine, the problem is regarding the homescreen of the TV, not the homescreen inside of the Emby app. Is this something that should be working? Hi, so I've been trying out the mobile apk on my Shield TV and the user experience has been very inconsistent quality-wise. A few things that has happened: First frame frozen until I paused and replayed from start (random occurrence, often ASS heavy shows) ASS subtitles on-screen freezes the video until they disappears Pictures loading in slowly making it "laggy" to navigate the home screens Very small show logo and clock in the OSD (not directly topic-related, but anyhow) If log is needed I can go out of my way to create one.

Hey Guys i have had a bit of an idea and would like to know what others think and if it would even be possible for the future ? This is a for the home pages for quick genre selection and searching options. the would save having to go into the movies / Tv shows selection to then search for genres that way. in total it takes 3 main clicks to get to your film selection the way it current is, with this option it would be just 1 click being right on the home page. Hopefully the images can give a bit more of a better example of this Hope everyone likes and would love to know your opinions too. Onyx

Hello, I'm just wondering if it's possible to control what shows appear in the "On Now" section. I've tried adding filters, but they don't flow back to the home screen. The sort order functionality doesn't seem to work at all. TIA, Jason

Version 3.0.5785.0 Every time the Emby server is restarted the view order for the homepage icons is reset. Although there is an "Edit Images" option for livetv...it does not appear to work. Thanks

Server Version 3.0.5588.1 Preferences->Homepage Option "My media (small)" no longer works.

Suggestions regarding Home page -> Latest Media images. Movies display backdrop -> should display, in descending priority, poster/thumb/banner/backdrop (imo) Videos display blank image -> should display same image as on Itemdetails page (imo) Latest Music Videos don't display -> should display, in descending priority, front cover/screen capture/artist (imo) Music displays artist on track basis -> should display on album basis, in descending priority, front cover/artist (imo) The priority sequence is for the case a given image does not exists. My opinion is subject to change in light of the rationales admin/developers point out in response to this post.
