  1. Greetings, Is there any way to automatically update the image of collections without having to do it manually? Let me explain: the collections option allows you to edit the image and add one from an external source, but what I really like is how Emby automatically generates covers by combining the artwork from the different collections within the collections library. In the movies library, I updated the metadata and regenerated all the images so that a cover was created automatically. However, this option doesn’t seem to be available for collections. When the system initially generated the collection covers, there were very few items inside them because I was just starting to create them. This resulted in the cover including repeated images. Now that the collections are complete, I don’t know how to regenerate that cover automatically to reflect the current content. Is there any way to do this? Best regards.
  2. Hi. I've set up a Raspberry Pi 4 with an external 4TB HDD. It's running Raspberry OS Lite (Debian GNU/Linux 11, bullseye), with installed Docker and Emby server in it - it's all working well for direct streaming to my LG C1. About SUBTITLES - I always do this manually - find them and put them in the same folder where the movie file is. About IMAGES and other info - I don't have any images, covers, etc. I only have movie+subtitle files, nothing else. All the extra data which Emby creates automatically when creating a library (nfo metadata files, covers, actor images, etc.) I'd like to have it in separate folder of my choice. I "played" a little when creating a test library. But I cannot seem to find the solution. 1) NFO files: When creating a library, if I enable "metadata savers", it saves the NFO's in same folder that the media is located. When leaving the "metadata savers" disabled, I have no idea where it stores the NFO's files. 2) IMAGES: When creating a library, if I enable "save artwork into media folders", it save the images in same folder that the media is located. When leaving the "save artwork into media folders" disabled, I have no idea where it stores the image files. I'd like to have my files that I manually downloaded (media+subtitles) intact, AS IS, without any extra info in the same folder - all the NFOs, covers, etc. in one folder (to rule them all ). Inside that "one" folder I don't mind having subfolders My media structure is simple like this: MOVIES: \movies\air_america_1990\avatar_2009.mkv \movies\air_america_1990\avatar_2009.srt \movies\atlantis_the_lost_continent_1961\atlantis_the_lost_continent_1961.mkv \movies\atlantis_the_lost_continent_1961\atlantis_the_lost_continent_1961.srt \movies\the_kings_man_2021\the_kings_man_2021.mp4 \movies\the_kings_man_2021\the_kings_man_2021.srt \movies\mortdecai_2015\mortdecai_2015.mkv \movies\mortdecai_2015\mortdecai_2015.srt \movies\elysium_2013\elysium_2013.mkv \movies\elysium_2013\elysium_2013.srt SERIES: \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e01_glorious_purpose.mp4 \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e01_glorious_purpose.srt \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e02_the_variant.mp4 \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e02_the_variant.srt \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e03_lamentis.mp4 \series\loki_2021\loki_s01e03_lamentis.srt ... etc ... \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s01e01.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s01e01.srt \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s01e02.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s01e02.srt \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s02e01.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s02e01.srt \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s02e02.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s02e02.srt \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s03e01.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s03e01.srt \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s04e01.mkv \series\the_it_crowd\the_it_crowd_s04e01.srt ... etc ... Any help appreciated
  3. CoverArt 4.1.10.0 Emby 4.5.4.0 Emby sees the file correctly as 1080p, but applies the 720p Logo instead of the 1080p Logo as it does with 1920x1080 files. Any way to fix such cases?
  4. Was wondering if anyone could help me with the Cover Screen Saver on Window Media Center. It stopped working a few updates ago and now when I go to install it it just hangs. Anyone have any ideas? Its such a great screen saver and would love to get it back....
  5. Hi Everybody, Can anybody help me figure out why some of my album artwork is not showing up in the Emby Media app? I don't rely on Emby Metadata Fetchers to get the album artwork, each of my music files has the album artwork embedded in the file itself. Most of the artwork is showing up, but about 5-10 out of every 100 albums (5-10%) is missing it's album cover. I was able to get a lot of them back by recopying the music files again to my new music location (server), overwriting the existing files with the one same files. However, I'm still missing about 2-3 out of 100 now. Thanks anybody/everybody! James

  7. It;s probably something my end that needs tweaking, as I have not seen anyone else report this, so I am hoping someone can help. Emby server is installed on my laptop, which is connected via wifi to my server. In the web client, Emby will not show all the covers. Refreshing the browser does not help. I am using chrome, but have tried it in IE11, which doesn't want to show any covers https://www.dropbox.com/s/q22gws762x43u66/Screenshot%202015-06-26%2019.17.55.png?dl=0 You'll notice in the next image, that it successfully shows one other image https://www.dropbox.com/s/vi7tcqou3c1ls8f/Screenshot%202015-06-26%2019.24.00.png?dl=0
  8. Note: This issue was sort of described in this topic but I have started a new topic to more directly describe the issue and the plug-in in detail. @@Aphid hope you read this. Issue: Ever since installing the Anime plugin (awesome by the way since it adds so much missing information) it has started to replace many of my covers from many anime series. Even after putting the covers back how I want them, every 24 hours or so they would revert back to what the anime plugin finds. How do I know this? Covers found from server (thetvdb) Cover that I selected and fetched from thetvdb Every day or so I find that the Cover changes to one that is not available from thetvdb Looked at sources for Anime plugin and found AniDB A search for the item anidb revealed the cover that was being used to replace thetvdb covers Log snippet: 2013-11-26 04:00:47.2583, Debug, ProviderManager, Running AnimeSeriesProvider for \\Star-pc\tv\Anime\Dragon ball GT 2013-11-26 04:00:47.2583, Debug, AniDB, Identified Dragon Ball GT as AniDB ID 233 2013-11-26 04:00:47.2583, Debug, ProviderManager, Running AniDbSeriesImagesProvider for \\Star-pc\tv\Anime\Dragon ball GT 2013-11-26 04:00:47.2653, Debug, AniDbSeriesImagesProvider, Downloading primary image for Dragon Ball GT from http://img7.anidb.net/pics/anime/332.jpg 2013-11-26 04:00:47.2653, Info, App, HttpClientManager.Get url: http://img7.anidb.net/pics/anime/332.jpg 2013-11-26 04:00:47.4124, Debug, ProviderManager, Saving image to \\Star-pc\tv\Anime\Dragon ball GT\folder.jpg I have attached the portion of the log where it shows doing this. Maybe there needs to be an option to only replace missing artwork if it finds preexisting images?
  9. Hello! Please help to solve the following issue: Win7 32 MBClassic v.3.0.5xxx Problem doesn't depend on Theme (tried many different themes to update covers and backdrops) It looks like it happened after updating the latest version... Before I had all my primary covers and backdrops in the library 100% filled with covers and backdrops, so It looked so nice For now I have only 30% and 70% dissapeared and doesn't appear anymore. All Metadata are OK, FanArt - OK, Tumbs - OK. All information downloaded completely. But problem with Covers and Backdrops. If I download Cover manually from Media Browser Library it appears, but if I download backdrops (1 or more) they dont appear. I reinstalled both client and server - no use Please tell me if any problems exist or I'm the only person having such problem? Tried to find something similar in discussions here but haven't found any useful information. Thanks in advance for the help. Stan
