Hello, I would like to request the ability to change the default trailer link assigned when adding a movie. Often, the selected trailer is in low quality or in another language, which is not ideal. It would be great to have an option to add a custom YouTube link, such as a button or a feature labeled "Change Trailer" or something similar. This would significantly enhance the user experience. Hello everyone, Despit of all my researches on the forum, I'didn't get the solution to fix my problem. Currently, I run Emby (4.8.8.0) on a Synolgy NAS DS918+ (DSM 7.1.1-42962), directly with the syno Package Emby. Emby server works fine, I can launch any movies or tv show, but after setting up the trailer plugin (with Emby Premier), when I launch any media, the "trailers" not working and I get the following message "No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later, or contact your system administrator for details." I've atteched the serve logs. According to it I've a nentworking problem to acces to trailer website, you can see above : 22:25:53.030 https://cl2.buscafs.com/www.metatube.com/public/uploads/videos/456932_mp4.mp4: Server returned 403 Forbidden (access denied) Do you have any idea to solve it ? Bonjour tous le monde, J'ai un soucis avec le plugins trailers et le mode cinéma. Je vous explique, j'ai pris un Emby Première, j'ai paramètre le mode cinéma pour jouer 3 bandes annonces avant un film. Mon problème est que les bandes annonces sont toutes en anglais ? Quelqu'un aurait une solution miracle pour les avoir en français ? Ou dans le pire des cas avoir les bandes annonces avec sous-titre français ? Le Emby tourne sur un Windows Serveur distant (OVH) couplé avec un Kodi en local chez moi. Merci de votre aide les amis

Hello All, I'm new to Emby just installed it 2 days ago but I needed help with trailers so I relied to already opened topic but didn't know if I should create a new one. So when I log into the Emby server or (Local Host) on my desktop the option to view the trailer for the selected movie is there and works meaning it plays the trailer when clicked. The Trailer button on the Emby Server is the second button listed after the play button buttons are in this order - Play, Trailer, Delete, (check/watched), (heart/favorite), and the 3 dots please see the attachment named: Trailer Button On Emby Server to see (Also on the Emby server or Local Host there is a trailer for every Movie and TV Show that was added to the Media Library Added to Emby please see attachments) But then when I go into my Emby app on my TV (via Roku all new just bought this year), there isn't a trailer button to play the trailer for that selected Movie or TV Show when you go to watch a Movie or TV Show. (the Trailer button does not appear). I would also like to know how to set up my media library trailers to randomly play before a movie I select to watch... not referring to the paid version with the plugin just the please see settings attachment would like it to play all watched and unwatched. I hope this was explained correctly and I thank you for your help in advance... and I hope to hear back from someone soon.

Hello Emby I'm wondering if anything can be done to improve the quality of Trailers please? I'm using the Trailers plugin (1.3.5.0) and the trailers appear blocky / low res and once upon a time they looked quite sharp. Is there any way to improve the quality of are there other plugins/options for increasing the quality please? Cheers Rob

Hi All, Has anybody managed to get local TV Series/Shows Trailers working ? No issues using local trailers for movies but for TV Series, I cannot get any of the local Trailers to work. Tried - ..\Show\Season 1\samename as show s01e01-trailer.mkv ..\Show\Trailers\trailer.mkv ..\Show\Season 1\Trailers\trailer.mkv Forcing the nfo to the local file (as above) just breaks the remote YT version. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I really like the Cinema Intros feature of Emby Premiere, but one thing that I think should be improved is its handling of movies that are part of a series/collection (Marvel Movies, James Bond, Star Trek, Star Wars,...). Whenever I watch a movie of this kind I get at least four out of five trailers that are part of the same series - when I watch an old Bond Movie I only get trailers for other Bond Movies. Same for the MCU. I guess this is because those movies are good match, but of cause this is incredibly dull. So could you maybe implement an option for more variety? For example by disallowing more than one trailer from the same collection? Or by giving a trailer a lower score if a trailer from the same studio/production company was already selected?

Right now it seems that you can only set this on a server level, turning it on means any user on any device gets the trailers, codec and custom intros, etc. I would love to be able to have the cinema intros turned on and play trailers before movies I watch in our dedicated viewing room, but unfortunately others who use this setup don't like playing trailers and would prefer to get straight into the movie. So having it enabled means they have to put up with watching/skipping (if you can skip) through trailers on their devices. It would be great to have more control within the settings for cinema intros and have it split up per user, that way when I login and watch things on my devices I can have as many trailers and codec intros and other stuff as I wish, but my wife can have it completely disabled for her user account. For those with home cinema setups they could have that set to the full cinema experience with multiple trailers and custom intros, etc. while still having the ability to use other devices that just go straight to the movie. It would also be nice to be able to choose what plays and in what order, with some kind of unlimited slots system where you can add a reorder intro slots and choose what type of trailer/intro plays in it. Similar to how you can choose the order of display on the home screen it would be good to be able to add 5 slots (or any number you like) and choose what to play in each slot . For example, in slot 1 I would like this specific custom intro video to play, then maybe in slots 2,3 and 4 select for it to play a random movie trailer from online (without repeating the same one twice) chosen based on the type of movie playing (trailers for horror movies when watching one, comedies for comedies, action for action, etc.) and then in slot 5 choose to play the codec intro or whatever. You get the idea. It would certainly aid in providing a much more realistic cinema experience for those who want it and allow each user to better customize their own experience. Who else would like to see these kinds of settings? Be sure to like this post and maybe it will become a reality.

What's up with trailers plugin. Getting alot of playback errors related to google admin.

I am using the "TRAILERS" Plugin and I have Trailers showing on my main page however they are not updating. I watched a bunch and now all I see are old ones and its been this way for weeks. Nothing I Do seems to resolve the issue. If I go through the menu choice to Trailers and view New Upcoming Movie trailers, I can find plenty of new unwatched trailers. So my question is how can I fix the display on the main page to show new and upcoming trailers, not stuff left from 2005-2014, etc. Thanks.

4.6.7.0 I do see newer ones if I specifically go to that section as well, after turning it on to test however, it is only playing an intro from a local folder I provided to it and no trailer. Previously it would play the number of trailers I put in the settings followed by one of my intros. I have checked and validated the settings.

Hi, only just noticed this tonight but when attempting to play a trailer via Emby Theatre app on the Xbox I receive the following message "Playback error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." Just checked the same in the iOS, Web and OSX apps and trailers play fine. Never tried this on the xbox before so not sure if an error or whether I need to config something first, any ideas? Thanks.

Hello everyone! Am I the only one that error when using the Trailer button on Emby? Playback Error. No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. This is happening since Emby 4.6.x. It even happens on movies that got added after the update to 4.6. I tried a couple of fixes without any luck.

One of the tendencies that I have noted in multiple apps are live tiles. For example Youtube TV has live tiles for live TV, as you move on the focus, it shows on the selected show tile a live feed in a small window. Similarly the Netflix Android TV app shows for Netflix movies the poster, and as a specific movie is the focus, it shows the trailer for the movie. So I imagine a poster view for movies, and as a movie is the focus, that trailer for that movie plays in the actual tile. For TV shows, the live tile could be the TV theme if available. For the on now on Live TV, the actual feed can play. I do realize that this is be player specific as opposed to the server.

Antes de nada agradecer a todos los hilos creados que me an ayudado bastante en este mundillo emby y la verdad que aprendido mucho de ustedes,,,chapo pero me gustaria preguntaros unas dudas que tengo en mente y querria saber si alguno lo a hecho,o sabe como hacerlo o algun andmin que me lea me eche un cable, Os cuento: Veo emby a traves de dispositivos android,tanto tv box como fire tv,segun donde me coja,y como veis tengo instalada la version tv box,me gusta muchisimo la forma y el estilo de la pantalla principal donde vamos con el mando del tv box seleccionando pelicula y a su misma vez va saliendo arriba la descripcion y la foto de la pelicula.. perooo,,,,,alguien sabria decirme donde,como,o alguna idea de que yo valla haciendo lo mismo con el mando del tv box seleccionando una pelicula y en vez de que salga la foto salga el trailer de esa pelicula seleccionada y a su vez a la izquierda la descripcion tal cual esta?.Osea seria cambiar en vez de que reconociara la foto,pues reconociara el trailer. Nose si habeis visto la aplicacion de Amazon prime que con su ultima actualizacion ya viene como os comento,al igual que Netflix, He mirado todo o eso creo vuestros tutos de como crear las bibliotecas para el video de fondo (que lo e probado y en este formato de tv box no hace nada),el de musica de fondo(que tambien lo e probado y si que va)trailers(si va)pero sobre este tema que os comento no os e leido nada,nose si no se podra hacer o no,el caso que si lo sabeis y darme una idea os estare agredecido,ya que si se puediera uff ,,.y todo lo que se es a traves de ustedes. First of all, Thank you to whomever or whatever changed that now allows Trailers to be played on a Amazon Fire TV Stick. All of you at Emby ROCK! Maybe others can test different models with slightly different versions. Also all of my devices are unmodified (side-loaded). I've only been able to test it on 1 Device so far. Plan to check others later this week. But here is what it is working on so far. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k Fire OS: 6.7.2.3 (NS6273/2773) Fire TV Home Version: 6240042.1 (not sure if relevant) AndroidTv: 1.8.24a Emby Server: 4.5.0.22 beta (Premiere Key) Trailers (plugin): 1.2.9.0 Also if this was covered somewhere else already, I did a search and didn't see anything and thought this was excellent news. This is a huge + for Emby and Fire OS as it was a feature sorely missed. -jack

Now that Google and Amazon are playing nice again and they've added the YouTube app back to Fire devices, can we get the trailer option added back to the FireTV emby app? Would make my life so much better as my wife constantly nags me that she can't watch a trailer to see what the movie is about lol.

I just got my custom intros working. But when i use my phone to connect (WAN and LAN side), it won't show the intro. Either it will hang until you force the movie to start, or sometimes it will throw an error stated below: Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available Anyone know anything about this?

Is it possible to have something play before the trailers? I would like it to play before to announce that the trailers are playing - like a coming soon banner - and then a custom video after the trailers - Our feature attraction. I have the custom video file configured but it plays after the trailers. So when you start the movie it launches into the trailers without warning and then into the movie without warning? Thanks.

Hi folks, Today I started a movie and no trailers were played before starting the movie. In my case i configured Cinema Intro's to play 2 trailers before each movie. Any suggestions? ps: when I play a movie through a broswer, it works fine and trailers are played before starting the actual movie. Not sure where to put this, but seems to be where everyone puts Cinema Mode questions. I love the idea of trailers before my movies/tv shows and love this feature. I am even considering putting shorts/newsreels/cartoons in front. Thank you for creating and supporting. However, the last two times I have enabled this, I get the same trailers over and over. Even if I watch the entire trailer, I get it again with the next movie. They do not all repeat but they repeat enough that I shut off the feature instead of skipping the trailer. So I have some questions. 1. Have I set it up incorrectly? I looked at the explanations of all the options and cannot see where to change a setting that would change this. 2. Where does it get the trailers from? Is there a way to change the source? 3. How does it decide that trailers to play next? Random? Based on viewing habits? 4. Am I insane? I know this last one is subjective, but perhaps.... Thanks to anyone who helps. Don

So I am having trouble with my pre-movie trailers in cinema mode on everything but the web browser. The playback will play the trailer and then either hang there or just stop. Have had a look in the dashboard while it happens and it doesn't seem even to try to start transcoding/playing the movie. I am using a set of custom 2-5 second trailers that appear before movies only resolution i have found is to turn it off for now but would realy like to keep using it logs atached and even willing to read other articles to try fix but its been 2 days of searching with no luck sofar embyserver.txt

So, I just watched "The Hunger Games" with cinema mode enabled and Emby decided to show me the following (local) Trailers: Hunger Games Pt 4, Ant Man, Hunger Games Pt 2, Hunger Games Pt 3, Captain America; The First Avenger - first of all that made for a very boring selection, but it would also have spoiled me parts of the movie if I hadn't seen it before. So maybe it would be an good option to ignore trailers for movies in the same collection as the film I'm going to watch? As a second step you could also limit the number of trailers Emby chooses from any collection. This would make for a greater variety, and prevent emby from showing multiple trailers for the same movie series.

Hello Emby I had a similar issue a while back and I was told that my version of Emby Theater was not up to date as you turned off you auto update and I needed to manually download and reinstall. I'm having issues playing Trailers again - it was working perfectly not long ago and if I use the WEB interface the trailers play perfectly. It is only when I use Emby Theater that Trailers don;t work. All I get is the revolving circle forever. I am running Emby Server 3.4.1.0 and Emby Theater version 3.0.1 It's super frustrating that things work perfectly and then don't without any changes to my system Can some please advise what I should do to get this stable?
