I wasn't sure if I should start a new topic for this, as I experiencing pretty much the same issues that Swynol and Daedalus experienced HERE: I originally posted this on that thread simply because it seemed directly related, but between worrying over whether that constituted thread-jacking, and the topic now having been marked 'Answered', I thought it might be better to start fresh (I will edit my post there to reflect this). I'm running Emby Server Beta on Windows 8.1. The main symptom is that all my supporter plugins are showing as "Trial expired", and when I go to their pages in the catalog, I just get a never-ending 'Loading' Circle. Emby Connect also seems wonky, as I can't link local users with their online Emby accounts; Users already linked can still use Connect to access the server over cellular (My only other internet connection), although when I try to log in through Connect in Chrome on the machine itself, my credentials aren't recognized. The logs show errors on every attempt to connect to verify plugin authorization, to the Emby Connect service and so on, in each case the log states "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.". It seems to be throwing A LOT of these errors, too, as I've had several 100MB+ logs over the past few days (The attached log from a fresh boot yesterday afternoon has since grown to 50MB overnight). The odd thing is that, despite the connection issues for plugin and Connect authorization, Emby Server updated both itself and the plugins just fine, and, as mentioned, I can use Connect to access the server from my cell on 4G. The "Thank you for supporting Emby" badge shows up properly on the Dashboard too (Not sure if that's relevant, but the last time I had a connection problem it disappeared). This is all happening as I finally have my server (the machine, that is) up and running again, after the motherboard and processor died a couple months ago, forcing me to use my laptop as a temporary server. I know from the fact that I didn't have these issues on the laptop that the cause should be located within the server, I've temporarily disabled my firewall entirely and placed the server in my router's DMZ just to eliminate that part of the equation, and I am fairly certain the issue isn't with my Emby configuration, as I've performed a series of fresh installs (both Release and Beta), and the issue was still present, but all I've discovered so far is what's NOT causing the problem, leaving me with no more of a clue as to what actually IS :-/ If anyone could help shed light on this, I would be seriously grateful, as while I do have a certain small amount of pride in my technical skills, I'm also pretty sure that I've come about as far as those skills will take me.   2. Hi, (I was away from these forums for awhile so this may have been answered; I did go over the Premiere FAQ before writing.) I have a supporter key from 2011. Is it supposed to still be valid? It was, up until a short while ago, but now it seems not to be, and when I try to feed it again into the Premiere dialog it doesn't seem to get accepted. So I presume this is a recent behavior change? Thanks!

    Unable to connect to server

    I have both Media Browser channels in the Roku Channel Store and another older one I got 2 years ago from private channels. My server always connected to all of them before the server updates last week. Channels are version 1.78, 1.84 & the official ch. I cant get Media Browser to connect to my server since last update. I became a supporter and it links my account, but says unable to connect to server on my Roku. Wont play in Netgear anymore either. That one says Media Browser (Offline). Still plays in my browser. Please help. Would it still play in browser if I pasted the activation key wrong? Also my Roku doesn't show up in the selected play to devise area.
  4. can someone please help me find where or how I stop my monthly supporter donation please? no longer want to donate as emby android now uses appjolt to monetize uninstalls and updates, I do not want to support via donation any apps that that do this. thanks

    Two Supporter Keys?

    I have the very first Key I purchased during the age of the dinosaurs (MB2?) and I have my MB3 Supporter Key. I have not been around for over a year now and wow has a lot changed, so please be gentle...lol The server (new install) has accepted my mb3 key but will not combine the old one or is this not necessary since it is probably useless at this point. So i guess my question is is it worth it to me become a supporter again? thanks for all your great work, Ice

Types of Plug-ins There are three different types of plug-ins offered in Media Browser: Free - These plug-ins are completely free and can be installed and used by anyone Supporter-Only - These plug-ins are free for MB 3 Supporters. You do not need to register these directly with their owners to use them. They will operate for free even if you are not a supporter for up to 14 days from the time you first install them on a given system. Premium - These plug-ins require paid registration directly with their developers. All revenue goes directly to that developer. You must also be an MB 3 Supporter for these plug-ins to be registered. This system, as opposed to us trying to get a piece of every sale from every developer, allows the core project to be compensated for providing the infrastructure in which the plug-in runs. What does it mean to be an MB 3 Supporter? You become an MB 3 Supporter by donating on either the Help->Donate page in the server dashboard or from the web site. Your supporter status will remain in effect for the length of time associated with the donation option you choose. There are three options: Monthly, Annual or Lifetime. "Lifetime" refers to the life of the system major version (3.x). You must be an MB 3 Supporter in order for any premium plug-ins to also be registered. Become a supporter by going to Help->Donate in the server dashboard or on the web site. This process will send you a supporter key which you then enter in the Help->Supporter Key page. Once you have become a Supporter, the badge that shows in the top tool bar in the server dashboard will turn gold. How do I register a Premium plug-in? You register all plug-ins (for any target system) in the server dashboard Plug-ins->Catalog page. Select the system to which the plug-in belongs (e.g. Server, MB Classic, etc.) and then select the particular plug-in from the list. On that page there will be an area that shows if you are registered for that plug-in and a button to execute the registration via PayPal. The PayPal button for a Premium plug-in is not there. What do I do? Look closely at the message in that area. It is probably telling you that you need to become a MB 3 supporter first. Click the link, become a supporter and enter your key and then go back to this page to register the plug-in. How do I register a Supporter Only plug-in? You don't. Become a supporter as described above and they will automatically be registered. Will I get a new key with each plug-in registration? Not usually. Your supporter key is generated based on the primary email address you have defined to the Pay Pal account you use to become a supporter or register a plug-in. As long as this email stays the same, so will your key. So, when you register additional components, you don't have to update or add another key. Your system will just automatically become registered for that component as well. I registered a plug-in and got a different key from what I had before. What do I do? Use the Link Keys function that is on the Help->Supporter Key page in the server dashboard. Carefully enter all the required information and hit the button. Then update your MB Supporter key to the newest one you received. I lost my supporter key. What do I do? Use the Lost Key function that is on the Help->Supporter Key page in the server dashboard. Enter the email address to which the key was associated and hit the button. Your key will be emailed to you at that address. Be sure to check all spam traps... Can I use a payment method other than Pay Pal? Sorry, not at this time. We have very limited resources working on the project and we must have an automated system to process registrations. Pay Pal is the only one we have right now. We greatly appreciate anyone who wants to send us a donation, but manually processing them would cost as much or more than whatever the donation(s) are . Thank you for your effort, but please use the PayPal system.
  9. Hi Everyone, First off, I've been rockin' MB since the early 2.x days, it's sweet. I re-installed MB3 Server overtop of an existing installation (long story, I was fighting Norton's Sonar Exclusions and stuff). Within my previous installation, I was a supporter, as I donated a couple of times, however the key that I previously used no longer worked. Not a big deal, I ponied up another donation about 30mins ago, however I have not seen any new emails with a new key (I checked all my accounts, junk/spam folders, etc.). Should it take a while for the donation to be processed? If not, maybe I hosed something up by donating several times over the past couple of years? Thanks! -J

    Supporter key problem

    I am having problems with my supporter keys. I have paid via PayPal for MBC key, as well as Breeze and Movie themes. When I try to enter the key for either plugin I get a meesage saying that I need to be a supporter of MBCin order to use premium features. I think the problem is because I have registered MBC with one email and the others with a different email. Can someone help me with this ?
