BradJMelb 3
Has anyone has any success with running the latest builds (I'm trying 3.3.1.0) on an older QNAP NAS that's running an x86 firmware? I'm bringing my parents out of the dark ages and finally decommissioning their W7 PC running a stand alone install of MediaBrowser 2. They have a TS-439 Pro II+ with QTS 4.2.6 which is the latest FW as this NAS is EOL. I know this is an old underpowered NAS but they have a 2017 LG C7 OLED so all the content will be direct playing. Back on page 2 there was talk about running on x86 firmwares, but I can't see anything mentioned recently. I installed the app and it didn't complain at all. The app centre says it's running but it's not really. If I try and start the process manually I get this error: /etc/init.d/emby-server.sh start [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer] # /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/system/EmbyServer: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 Is this a lost cause or has anyone managed to get this up and running? Thanks everyone, Brad.

Thanks everyone, Brad. This package is for x64 only. For x86 you need to use the QNAP community package. Instructions can be found on our website: https://emby.media/download Thanks. Instructions can be found on our website: https://emby.media/download Thanks. Thanks Luke, I thought this release may have been for x86 as there was initial talk about it. To help out other users would it be worthwhile updating the download page to mention X86 as well as ARM for Stephane's version? I'll give it a go and post there if I have troubles. Cheers. jdfoster 0
Just a heads up, I've removed the link from the first post and going forward you can find this package from the download page of our website: https://emby.media/download It's under the NAS section, then select QNAP. Thanks guys. Has the QNAP version gone live at the main download page? All I see is Synology at https://emby.media/nas-server.html

AvengersFan 10
Ah it’s funny JD mentions that. I had a quick look yesterday on my iPad as well so I knew where it was. On a iPad, you can’t actually see the drop down arrow just the line. It I wasn’t until I used my PC that I released the drop down was there. No biggie of course, but if someone was browsing, they may get the impression that only synology is available? Rew452 13
Luke I am really impressed with this new release overall but I have just encountered a new issue with playback. If i want to skip forward it will work a few times and then playback will stall with no recovery. Same if I use chapters to change playback position. Problem happens on some disks not all, any ideas? Perlbo 0
Hi, any reason for non Beta Package for Qnap here ? Thank you for your great work ... https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/releases
Luke 37235
The qnap package has to be built manually on a qnap so it's not feasible for us to not every beta for it.

isriam 0
nope, restarted and tried to hit https://192.168.1.11:8920 and got reset ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I am able to hit public and private on 8096 with http though. I also see both listening on the qnap. tcp 0 0 :::8920 :::* LISTEN tcp 0 0 :::8096 :::* LISTEN

LukeNukem 1
Hey guys, just tried to switch from community version to your official release but think I maybe broke it, because instead of uninstalling the old version before installing 3.3.1.0 I just stopped it via qnap appcenter. Meanwhile I did uninstall the old community version and qmono but can´t get the 3.3.1.0 running. Installation via qnap appcenter works well but the wizard does not let me go further then the language selection. The circle keeps spinning after I click next and nothing more happens. What can I do? Already deleted the /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer folder and tried to reinstall. Are there more files I have to delete manually to clean my NAS from every old emby data? PenkethBoy 2063
Same issue as the user in this thread and a downgrade did not work - although it is advised for general QNAP stability https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/57867-emby-crashes-after-starting-the-configuration/ Edited April 17, 2018 by PenkethBoy
