To all users. At least 50% of all reported issues needs additional clarifications. I must make assumption, guessing that's the meaning and coming back with followup questions. I mentioned it a couple of times and I say it again (also put it in FAQ soon).   1. Find a pattern, "sometimes" is no a proper issue description. After you modified the Emby server libraries you must perform a plugin database reset or even better a factory reset.

plugin config menu -> scan -> factory reset.

If srt still not shows up, please check if srt's are offered on Emby's WebUI playerback. As mentioned, they must be available there, otherwise it's still an issue on Emby server.

SRT Available in Emby Server Player (Browser and Emby Tv App) . But Not available in Emby for Kodi. I tried everything reset/Reinstall the Add on everything.

This is currently the bare minimum so that Emby server detects the content correctly.

Please also use the season subfolders (as in the video).

This is probably related to Kodi 20 alpha you tried. If it appears in Kodi 19 as well, let me know.

delta changelog:

Fix special feature selection
Add another index in database (improves delete content by parent Id queries)
Fix multiversion item removal
Fix Emby server >= 4.8.0.4 Library ID issue

 

Comment:

Due folder remove sync issue, a database reset is mandatory.

Thank You So Much for Your Support Sir . 

I did everything as Per Your Video and I got the result also everything as Per Video Only Except The Mouse Frst 2 Episodes( Rename also Tried But Frst 2 Episode I cant get SRT) . Other Episodes 3-20 SRT Working Fine and Peaky Blinders also Working Fine .

Regarding that Can't Play Issue . I faced in Both 19 and 20 . In fact I installed 20 due to that Issue Only.  Specifically Whenever We Rename the Video file and Refresh the Emby Server that Time only We face that Issue, Other Videos Playing Normally. And After Sometimes It ll corrected after Library Update.(In Kodi 19)

 

But in 20 ,I found that Whenever We alter the files like cut /copy/Move/rename . After that we ll do Emby server update. But in Kodi it mentioned as Library update, But it didn't update Properly. So only whenever we play modified file it shows that error. After every Modification we should do Database Reset In Kodi 20 .

After The New Update 7.6.0 This issue also Cleared. Just Now I Checked. Working fine in Kodi 20.

Hi quickmic. I'm getting the following error when running the 7.x branch. I don't see the error occurring on 6.x. The add-on just completely stalls when it reaches that show and doesn't continue processing.

Let me know if you need any further details.

Thanks for the log, I see the issue. Not sure why this happen (one of the people of a TVshow) has no Name.

I'll fix it in next version.

Meanwhile, you can review the people on Emby server for the TVShow "ODDTAXI" or the one after "ODDTAXI" (alphabetically) and keep an eye on invalid peoples. -> Emby server metadata manager.

Shift, probably backup current installation.

I expect no issues. 7.x has many improvements and a few 6.x design flaws fixes which cannot be back ported to 6.x.

Meanwhile the episode "Star 80 proof" or the one after (alphabetically -> (Windows) search tvshows folder for all mkvs/mp4 etc and you should find it) seems to be corrupt.

The (screen) aspect ratio should be detected by Emby server. That's not the case here which leads to the assumption the file is corrupted.

Check it (via VLC player etc.) and probably remove it. Rescan library on Emby server and try a resync.

 

In general, all those issues are not directly related to the plugin. They indicates wrong/corrupted content on Emby server. 6.x. just ignores those issues, in 7.x I removed several fallbacks.

Reason, I wanna know the actual problems. If I just ignore everything, I cannot decide between an actual plugin bug and a content issue.

In checking the files... the one before, the one, and the one after I'm using MediaArea.net's MediaInfo app and it shows width, height, aspect ratio for all three... The one it's stopping on is a fraction larger than the other two files, so maybe it's somehow bunk but it plays fine in vlc and mkvtooknix doesn't seem to have a problem remuxing any of those files... hmmm.

Just an FYI, I'll remove the whole season and rescan emby followed by kodi.
