I will post more logs if I noticed any that is usual

Do you use emby server 4.8.0.4 or higher? In the logs I can see the "old" library IDs.

I tried both.

Well, in native mode, Kodi is fully responsible for the external subtitles. So that's not a plugin issue, in addon mode it's different.

As both are not working, there is something wrong (maybe in subtitle naming).

Are the subtitles available if you play via Emby server's WebUI?

Please upload a subtitle file for review and also post the filename of the corresponding movie and the folder structure for this movie.

Peaky.Blinders.2013.S01E01.Blu-ray.1080i.AVC.ReMuX.TrueHD.2.0-EPSiLON.srt 46.82 kB · 0 downloads

Ok, please try rename the srt file to:

Peaky.Blinders.2013.S01E01.Blu-ray.1080i.AVC.ReMuX.TrueHD.2.0-EPSiLON.eng.srt

Rescan the library on Emby server and try again on Kodi.

If this solves the issue, I'll try to support your current srt files naming. But first let's see if this is the root cause.

After Renaming , I tried both native and add on mode , Same result . it didnot listed

same time , its working fine in kodi server , emby tv and emby browser.

No nothing on plugin side. Currently I'm performing some tests with your setup.

I still think the filenamings are the issue.

You can try renaming moviefile and srt file to:

Peaky-Blinders.eng.srt

Peaky-Blinders.mkv

Maybe the dots are confusing the plugin.

...same tests. Rescan on emby server after rename and try playback on Kodi.

Peaky.Blinders.2013.S01E01.Blu-ray.1080i.AVC.ReMuX.TrueHD.2.0-EPSiLON.eng.srt ,

I assume this works only in native mode. Kodi want's to save the subtitles in the folders and addon mode uses http URLs.

I'm still testing your case... will take a while.

I performed a test with your filenamings. Works perfectly in my setup. I need a kodi.log after playback was initiated.

btw, do you use Kodi profiles?

No, stock kodi settings.

Same as yours:

srt_1.thumb.png.3452b1cc95b336c89257a796c72eda85.png

kodi.log -> do you have fille access to kodi? then it's in the Kodi's temp folder e.g.:

/home/osmc/.kodi/temp/kodi.log

If you have no file access, there are Kodi plugins available to access/upload kodi.logs

Not sure if I got it. Content names (episodes etc.) are from Emby server and should match. -> Kodi content names = Emby server content names.

Now SRT External Working in Peaky Blinders But Not Working in Mouse Series. I can't Understand why it occurs differently

No reason why it shouldn't work. Please test the Mouse.S01E01 playback via Emby server's WebUI. If it's not working there, it's not a plugin issue. If working, I'll investigate on plugin side.

The plugin always pulls Emby servers data.

btw:

Your filelist shows your drop the content into a single folder? Generally, this is not a good idea. Don't get me wrong, it should still work (if you tag Emby servers library as mixed content) but it's not the best approach. Emby server has to "guess" what's what.

You should split Folders for TVShows and Movies and create 2 libraries on Emby server with a clean structure. That's way better.

Yes You are Right. But Whenever I choose TV Shows for The Mouse/Peaky Blinders Series. It shows No Items Found .

And Yes Emby WEB-DL Working For Mouse Series. Now for Peaky Blinders also the SRT Not Showing. I add the Log .(Before It working with en , eng or without that and Movie name with SRT Names ) .

Yes, and the reason for this is most likely Emby server doesn't detect Mouse Series as TV Show. Emby "thinks" it's a movie.

One of the previous logs indicates exactly that:

Quote

EMBY.core.movies: UPDATE movie [3/12/1] 244: Mouse.S01E01

Please check if your library on emby server is at least tagged as "mixed" and not as "movies" but really, split them. You make it Emby server much easier and I think also the subtitle issues are just a side effect here.
