When selecting repeat in the music player, it's supposed to change from white to green, indicating repeat all. Then if you select once more, a 1 is added to the icon to indicate that only the present song will repeat. Neither of these, happen. In the picture, repeat 1 is selected. It stays white.

Is there a quick guide for setting up MadVR to do Refresh Rate Switching (and nothing else). I want to try that out, as I need refresh rate switching but I've only got HD630 integrated graphics.

The website has some links that might have some information:

http://madvr.com/

Some community members here may also have some tips.

It's pretty easy. Click on the link in the settings.

It will open that folder. Double click madHcCtrl.exe. You will see the MadVR icon in the system tray. Right click and select MadVR settings.

Then add the refresh rates you wish to use.

Thanks. Video Switching worked. But...

MadVR breaks audio output. Dolby TrueHD is output as Stereo.

It's switching to LAV audio, so Luke may have to take a look at that. Maybe post your Theater logs?

All video files actually. So no http streams

What is used to render http streams? I am using nextpvr and I noticed in stats for nerds original media is http video/audio streams not recognised so transcoding

There are only two players, directshow and mpv. Directshow will be LAV and MadVR. The http streams will all go through mpv, as it handles that, better.

Just installed Emby Theater 2.8.2 on new Windows 10 machine, the installer says it will install C++ 2015 Runtime, but it installs C++ 2013 runtime instead, so it asks to install C++ 2015 each time Emby is run.  It stops once C++ 2015 installer is installed.  Sorry it this has already been reported.

Also, my last look at Emby Theater was early July, it appears that the exclusive mode audio is still not working as 96000Hz music files are output as 44100Hz and the system sounds can be heard and system volume can be adjusted

@@Luke, this was working after you did a quick fix post on #1971 on this thread, is it possible for me to add the changes you made to my mpv.conf to get pure lossless output working again? with default Windows 10 settings all audio is upsampled to 48000Hz (DVD Quality) with shared audio.

The feedback from the community was that we should not apply it for music.

I don't think mpv.conf will work because when the setting in Theater is no, we'll pass exclusive=no which will override your mpv.conf. What we can do for the next release is just omit it from the options we're sending unless it's yes. That will allow you to keep it off in Emby Theater and use mpv.conf to set it as desired.

That would explain why I've been having an issue with that! I wanted to make theater have exclusive audio, when in use. Just as it was before the move to mpv.  And I would ask that when any setting is off, to allow the .conf to be in effect. There are other issues in this area, that I have raised. Such as the upmix setting, that doesn't work and the .conf setting is blocked.

@@daedalus That was never actually implemented, however I just did that and you should have that update by tomorrow. I'll look at what shortcut to use for subtitles. Thanks.

Any suggestion of a key combination to use for changing the subtitle track? We are already using control-shift-s for stop. Thanks.
