The embedded track titles setting is in Library-Advanced tab per the image in the wiki in step 9. 1
Teddyknuddel 106
Since I installed the plugin, new movies and episodes are no longer read cleanly. For example, I added a new episode the day before yesterday, which is still not read into Emby. Did I miss something?

Can you do a debug log for me and run it on same episode by adding the episode id to the reprocess field. show me what the mediainfo json output looks like too. if you can screen shot your settings please for the plugin. Teddyknuddel 106
I just deactivated it to see if anything is read in now. Apparently, for every little tool (especially now MediaInfo and Mkvtool) must be released extra rights in the Synology. What I had done earlier. The problem is, how should I be able to enter for the ID of the episode, if Emby does not want to read in? embyserver.txt

So... you deactivated the plugin before giving me the server log... and i have no info for MediaToolbox in there. BUT..... I think you have much bigger issues with your server and setup. I have never seen a log with sooo many errors in it for a very long time. I will walk you thru what to do. First enable debug logging Then find an episode that you think has issues in the web UI, you will find the episode id in the address bar Take copy only the number (617994) and add this to the plugin reprocess field and then hit save Go to schedule tasks and rotate the log Finally Run the mediainfo task in the log you will see information like this, it will also show you the exact json output from mediaInfoCLI itself (further down) here is the JSON that you should find in the log also Spoiler { "creatingLibrary": { "name": "MediaInfoLib", "version": "22.03", "url": "https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfo" }, "media": { "@ref": "D:\\Emby_Test\\TV Shows\\The Last of Us\\Season 01\\The Last of Us - 1x01 - When You're Lost in the Darkness.mkv", "track": [ { "@type": "General", "UniqueID": "325415128851993379140709851685414708911", "VideoCount": "1", "AudioCount": "1", "FileExtension": "mkv", "Format": "Matroska", "Format_Version": "4", "FileSize": "5454983794", "Duration": "4847.328", "OverallBitRate_Mode": "VBR", "OverallBitRate": "9002871", "FrameRate": "23.976", "FrameCount": "116219", "StreamSize": "108576899", "IsStreamable": "Yes", "File_Created_Date": "UTC 2023-02-06 17:50:33.728", "File_Created_Date_Local": "2023-02-06 18:50:33.728", "File_Modified_Date": "UTC 2023-02-21 09:06:36.115", "File_Modified_Date_Local": "2023-02-21 10:06:36.115", "Encoded_Application": "Lavf59.27.100", "Encoded_Library": "Lavf59.27.100", "extra": { "ErrorDetectionType": "Per level 1" } }, { "@type": "Video", "StreamOrder": "0", "ID": "1", "UniqueID": "13582461508220067608", "Format": "AVC", "Format_Profile": "High", "Format_Level": "4", "Format_Settings_CABAC": "Yes", "Format_Settings_RefFrames": "4", "CodecID": "V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC", "Duration": "4847.300000000", "BitRate_Mode": "VBR", "BitRate": "8250000", "BitRate_Maximum": "12374976", "Width": "1920", "Height": "1080", "Stored_Height": "1088", "Sampled_Width": "1920", "Sampled_Height": "1080", "PixelAspectRatio": "1.000", "DisplayAspectRatio": "1.778", "FrameRate_Mode": "CFR", "FrameRate": "23.976", "FrameCount": "116219", "ColorSpace": "YUV", "ChromaSubsampling": "4:2:0", "BitDepth": "8", "ScanType": "Progressive", "Delay": "0.000", "StreamSize": "4881063407", "Title": "HD 1080p AVC [8.3Mb/s]", "Encoded_Library": "x264 - core 157 r2965 861cec4", "Encoded_Library_Name": "x264", "Encoded_Library_Version": "core 157 r2965 861cec4", "Encoded_Library_Settings": "cabac=1 / ref=4 / deblock=1:0:0 / analyse=0x3:0x113 / me=hex / subme=7 / psy=1 / psy_rd=1.00:0.00 / mixed_ref=1 / me_range=16 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=1 / 8x8dct=1 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / fast_pskip=1 / chroma_qp_offset=-2 / threads=34 / lookahead_threads=5 / sliced_threads=0 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / interlaced=0 / bluray_compat=0 / constrained_intra=0 / bframes=3 / b_pyramid=2 / b_adapt=1 / b_bias=0 / direct=1 / weightb=1 / open_gop=0 / weightp=2 / keyint=96 / keyint_min=96 / scenecut=40 / intra_refresh=0 / rc_lookahead=40 / rc=2pass / mbtree=1 / bitrate=8250 / ratetol=1.0 / qcomp=0.60 / qpmin=0 / qpmax=69 / qpstep=4 / cplxblur=20.0 / qblur=0.5 / vbv_maxrate=12375 / vbv_bufsize=6187 / nal_hrd=vbr / filler=0 / ip_ratio=1.40 / aq=1:1.00", "Default": "Yes", "Forced": "No", "BufferSize": "6186992", "colour_description_present": "Yes", "colour_description_present_Source": "Container / Stream", "colour_range": "Limited", "colour_range_Source": "Container / Stream", "colour_primaries": "BT.709", "colour_primaries_Source": "Container / Stream", "transfer_characteristics": "BT.709", "transfer_characteristics_Source": "Container / Stream", "matrix_coefficients": "BT.709", "matrix_coefficients_Source": "Container / Stream" }, { "@type": "Audio", "StreamOrder": "1", "ID": "2", "UniqueID": "16136102018133430746", "Format": "E-AC-3", "Format_Commercial_IfAny": "Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos", "Format_Settings_Endianness": "Big", "Format_AdditionalFeatures": "JOC", "CodecID": "A_EAC3", "Duration": "4847.328000000", "BitRate_Mode": "CBR", "BitRate": "768000", "Channels": "6", "ChannelPositions": "Front: L C R, Side: L R, LFE", "ChannelLayout": "L R C LFE Ls Rs", "SamplesPerFrame": "1536", "SamplingRate": "48000", "SamplingCount": "232671744", "FrameRate": "31.250", "BitDepth": "32", "Compression_Mode": "Lossy", "Delay": "0.000", "Delay_Source": "Container", "StreamSize": "465343488", "StreamSize_Proportion": "0.08531", "Title": "Dolby Digital Plus Atmos 5.1 ", "Language": "en", "ServiceKind": "CM", "Default": "Yes", "Forced": "No", "extra": { "ComplexityIndex": "16", "NumberOfDynamicObjects": "15", "BedChannelCount": "1", "BedChannelConfiguration": "LFE", "bsid": "16", "dialnorm": "-29", "compr": "-0.28", "acmod": "7", "lfeon": "1", "dialnorm_Average": "-29", "dialnorm_Minimum": "-29", "compr_Average": "2.40", "compr_Minimum": "0.53", "compr_Maximum": "4.22", "compr_Count": "106" } } ] } }

Teddyknuddel 106
Somehow I can't get anything done right now - for two weeks we've been clearing out the house, so much crap that no one needs anymore. Renovation is also not going as planned. I switched off MediaInfo for TV series, but still didn't want to read anything - after an hour it was always at 86.7% and I could do whatever I wanted. Went nothing forward. And my wife is of course waiting for her new TV episodes. Since I can not wait forever until everything is there. Long story short. Deleted the series library completely, and recreated it over a new library. I'll have to try again later - but first I'm glad that MediaInfo works for the movies. I agree but if the user is still on release 4.7.11 then the plugin might be of use. However, when the beta hits release stage… we can remove this element. But i am interested in doing the ac3 track insert you have spoken about for a while now.

I noticed some other HDR 'bugs' as well the other day on certain files. They had HDR colour space (BT2020) but they had no 'HDR text based description' in media Info - they are HDR PQ files - so thus the plugin didn't tag them as HDR. We probably need to just fall back to using the colour space field if the HDR description field is blank or missing. And yea, tagging the other standard Audio tracks would be a great option (AAC, AC3 etc) - as filtering by Tag is far superior to any of the Emby filtering options. Other than that - a rock solid Plugin ! - a must have for AV Enthusiasts imo ..

lorac 101
Will the plugin be updated to allow the new versions of mediainfo w/o the override? I know there were a couple versions that had issues but I haven't seen any problems with the changed metadata using 22.12 version.
