  1. Hi I am using Emby on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and when I play any 4K HEVC or HDR files the colours look very off and way more green then they should. I have included comparison images. The first image (0604) is a 4K HDR file on Emby and the second image (0605) is through Infuse Player and also reflects how the stock IOS video player handles HDR colours. Are there any settings I can change to make the colours look accurate? I only have this problem on my iPhone, all my other devices including an android tablet, Windows PC and LG TV all show the colours perfectly. Hope someone can help! Thanks
  2. Hello I am not able to user H265 HEVC Decoder of the RK3568 while running in Docker on Armbian. is there any chance to get it working? What should I add to Docker Compose YAML File to make it work? I see only ARM V4L2 H.264 for H264 as Hardware Decoder in the system settings for transcoding. According to specs this CPU ist H265 capable.. 1.2.7 Video CODEC  Video Decoder  H.265 HEVC/MVC Main10 Profile yuv420@L5.1 up to 4096x2304@60fp Found in this Spec Sheet: . (radxa.com)

ATV4k 2022 and HEVC or 4k in HEVC

Hi, if I play my vidz in native mode (in need the refresh rate) 80% of the H264 works but only maybe 10% of HEVC works. 4k don't work at all. If I try to play a HEVC or 4kHEVC I got first the black screen (which indicates the switch to the refresh rate or/and HDR) and then comes the normal movie display where I can start the movie again but all things that I do from now on (go back to movie selection or other things in the app) stutters and the movie doesn't start at all. I have to close emby app completely and that changes the refresh rate back to settings I have in ATV4k. Is this a known bug in emby app for TVos?!

    Some HEVC videos not smooth.

My mobile phone freezes when playing x265 video, but I tried some other x265 videos, no problem, my mobile phone performance is definitely strong enough. Both the Android App and Server are the latest versions, and they are played directly in the local area network without transcoding. I tried to play the video file directly with VLC(VLC doesn't show hardware or software decoding), there is no problem. The hardware decoding of MX Player Pro is not smooth, and the software decoding is smooth. So on emby, how do I solve this problem? x265-video-example.zip

    Hardware transcoding bug

Hi there, I now have a Quadro p2000 for transcoding. So far everything is going wonderfully except for a film. The movie starts transcoding via the graphics card for the first few seconds and then stops and continues transcoding with the CPU. ffmpeg-transcode-e85dc8be-7727-4e84-a350-1d5193e70554_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-d53c8c4b-f26f-4b60-83e8-47208a75d5a9_1.txt
  6. Hi, I have the newest emby server in my network and some clients (fire tv sticks) where everthing is working perfect. but I have one old windows 7 media center running with MB classic on it. But the MediaCenter pc is too old to run HEVC H.265 videos as direct stream. But I didn't got it to work, that emby server will transcode this codecs for my MB classic. Is there a possibilty to force this, or is MB classic only able to direct stream, but not ask the server for a transcode? br puntipk

    Choppy playback

When playing season 3 of Silicon Valley the video playback is choppy at times. Audio is not affected. I've tried on different pc's using auto, madvr, edge, stable, etc. Video plays w/o issue in MPC-HC. theater-63609795607.txt server-63609793322.zip
