A new version of Emby Server is now rolling out and includes a number of new features, performance improvements and bug fixes. Here's what's new.
New Xml TV Support !
We now have an additional option for guide data, XmlTV! Setting it up is easy, just add an xml tv guide data source:
Then all you have to do is enter a file path or URL to your XmlTV data, and you're done!

Automatic Refresh Rate Switching
The Android TV app now (as of version 1.2.11g) supports automatic refresh rate switching on supported devices. This requires Android 6.0+ and a display that supports the target refresh rate. The app will now automatically adjust your panel's refresh rate to a frequency that better matches the video being played if possible. This requires no special setup but can be disabled with an option in the settings page if desired.

Audio and Subtitle Selections Now Remembered
When you play a video that you've already played before, Emby Server will now remember your previous audio and subtitle selections, and will apply them automatically.
New Episode Auto-Play Setting
Emby apps will now auto-play next episodes, but if you'd like to turn this off, we've added a user preference setting under Playback.

Fix chromecast queue command
We've updated our Chromecast app to support the new episode auto-play feature introduced in Emby Server 3.0.5882. Now you can control whether or not you'd like next episodes to be auto-played, and Chromecast will respect the setting.
How to Get The Update To receive the update, simply power cycle your Chromecast device and restart the casting app.
