For now I have reset the local db to get everything in sync.

If I get this right, reset local DB will be temp fix, it might probably happen again next time it processes updates

quicmic is already working on it

Resetting the local db brought it back in sync and updating in Kodi is working again (as long as I don't delete anything)

Judging by what I experienced lately, quickmic will find a fix, maybe not right now, but soon. We're in good hands, I am not worried.

Not sure why it freezes, on first start.

In the last few days, I have also observed systematic freezing on first* soft close (graceful exit as per Kodi's wording)

*As in after adding libraries back

Like @BaukeZwart, I performed local DB reset (and will refrain to delete content for time being)

I have observed kodi apparent hang seconds after local DB reset (with "working..." prompt and spinning wheel.

This lasts a minute or two, then eventually resume with the 3 usual questions. That 3rd question is actually more of a prompt "Kodi will now restart...", which is a bit misleading, as it actually only close. ( AngelBlue already acknowledged this 3 yrs+ ago).

I realize I am nitpicking here, but it should either restart or else say "Kodi will now close..."  Maybe barking up the wrong tree if its Kodi's bad choice of word (as opposed to Emby for Kodi's), in which case just disregard and forgive me.

It's a bug when a TVshows/Episode was removed. I'll check that.

btw, same was also reported by @CharleyVarrick

Hmm I am on the stable version (not the beta repo nor the test builds from here) and think I'm experiencing this. Everything had been working fine as usual but Kodi now no longer reflect new shows.

Came on here to troubleshoot and read this comment.

I did just delete some old shows via Sonarr. Could mine be the same issue even though I'm on the stable version? Is there a workaround?

Thank you @quickmic, just PMed you.

Actually, the log seems quite ok beside the queued updates are not processed. This is normal while watching a video, but should continue after stopped.

Plugin directly locked updates after your first playback ysterday at and seems never released.

Did you try a reboot?

I am surprised this never being mentionned.

Speaking of which, wasnt there an option in there (some time ago) to display progress bar if update count greater than 10 or something?

I am experiencing a minor issue with the current version regarding the update of watch progress.

If I start a video in Kodi and pause it midway through, it correctly appears in the "Continue Watching" section in Emby web interface, but when I then finish watching it in Kodi, progress is not correctly updated in Emby. It is marked as watched as expected, but it remains under "Continue Watching" and with the progress it had when it was first paused.

It then looks like this:

Thanks for reporting, not sure if this is a Emby server issue or a plugin issue.

Can you please test with Emby app? If it shows the same behavior, probably a server issue.

Just tried with Emby Android app. Could not reproduce the behavior. Episode disappeared from "Continue Watching" section correctly.

I dont know why the Kodi discioonected from the server, I left my Kodi on went for a walk for about 1/2 hour came back the laptop went to hybernation, pressed entered key the system came back, When I tries to play video I noticed it wasn't responding, actiors fan acts  not populating so it seems that E4K disconnected with server, when I checked the log, it seems to confirm my assumption, I may be right/wrong. When I restart Kodi play back seems fine.

I noticed a cosmetic issue. When there is no tagline “0 –“ is shown in the movie plot field.
This is also the case when using the Kodi default Estuary Skin.

I never noticed this before, can this be E4K related?

I'm using 5.2.02 and sometimes incremental syncs simply stop mid-sync. Like, forever.

Nothing throwed in the logs.

Only fix is quitting KODI and starting it back.

Incremental sync starts from 0 again, but eventually gets over the previous % where it stopped and completes successfully.

@BaukeZwart

Some other users mentioned that as well. How do you access this information?

I noticed that zero yesteday too, but not in there, on main menu widgets, if I'm over a movie.

It's in the place of "unwatched" (episode number).

But I think its skin related, I'm using the same skin as you: AEON Nox: SiLVO

Report it there for us please :D
