JuJuJurassic opened a separate thread on this. It may be a good idea to let the devs know he and I are not the only ones with this issue

I'll upload a new version tonight. That should fix your problem.

New version 2.0.2.0 in the plugin catalogue:

General:

  • Unified Logging output

Channels:

  • Fixed some bugs around Program File Caching
  • Fixed Playlist and Collection visibility in Add/Edit Channel dialog
  • Changed order of some Channel Rules to clarify the logic behind
  • Performance improvements to Guide Refresh
  • Added Runtime Logging to Guide Refresh
  • Added option to disable program indicators Premiere and Repeat
  • Added preview to Add/Edit Channel dialog

Playback:

  • Fixed some exceptions in Session Events for Playback Progress Reporting
  • Fixed Remove from Continuou Watching

The plugin should not auto update, so a manual download from the catalog is required.
As usual, you should clear your browser cache before opening the plugin config page.

Yup, same here. Doesn't matter if it's a new install or an update, it will always fail.

Downloading the file manually from the plugin store, rename manually and add it to Emby, seems to work however...

I haven't attempted the update (it doesn't even seem to be available) but mine doesn't appear to honor the "play watched only" setting.

@TZTZoro@Dibbes@crusher11Can you please try it again.

@LukeSomething is wrong with either the plugin catalog or the update mechanism in Emby. The previous plugin version in the catalog is 2.0.0.1.
I've then uploaded a new version  2.0.1.0 to the catalog, but the installation of that plugin version is failing. I've rebuilded the assembly multiple times, tried different browsers for uploading to the catalog. The only thing that helped was changing the plugin version number to 2.0.2.0. It's like Emby could not differentiate between 2.0.0.1 and 2.0.1.0
It's also replicable. If i change the version number back to 2.0.1.0, the installation is failing again.

Okay, I've updated and it's still not respecting "play only watched".

Do you mean "Watched state to include for movies/music videos", respectively "Watched state to include for tv shows/episodes"?

I'm a little confused where do I download this plugin from? Was thinking of trying it out, but the downloads on the first post don't work when I download and put them in the plugin folder. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

It depends on the Emby version you have installed.

"||" if the item should have any of the studios or "&&" if the item should have all studios.

Not using the beta.

Then it's "VirtualTV.1.1.3.2_Emby.4.7.x.zip" that you want. Did you extract the dll from the zip or did you copy the zip to your plugins folder? Also what OS do you have?

I unzipped it and put it into the plugin folder. Then restarted my server, but nothing happened. I am going to try again and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
