No I don't see it, but they did acknowledge it in another topic.

 

ok, the problem is the priority of the task..

I think it as to be on the first places..

hope the dev are working on it..

Here's a patch to the tvdb plugin that works around the .zip.xml thing. Use at your own risk though because we don't know yet if the data coming back can be fully trusted at this point.

I tried to refresh metadata for The mandalorian and the result in log for me is the FileNotFoundException relating the it.xml file.

 

I don't see anymore zip corrupted as days ago..

 

so I think the problem is addressed as this:

Will need other non-english language metadata users to confirm, but the few non-english zips that I have pulled appear to work properly.  So it may be show specific.  Or failed translations.

Here's a patch to the tvdb plugin that works around the .zip.xml thing. Use at your own risk though because we don't know yet if the data coming back can be fully trusted at this point.

 

Edit: Tvdb plugin update 1.0.20 released.

 

Thanks Luke but...... can't see a link and would this work with a Synology release?

Restart your server and it should pull down the plugin update.

@@GiGo, that's because the fix went into the latest update of the TVDB plugin.

Yea the fix looks OK for right now for English users, or at the very least, better than without it. For non-english users you may have to wait until tvdb resolves it on their end.

Just restart Emby server and it should pull down the plugin update.

With this patch virtual items are being created again, so this fixes the Upcoming items disappearing.  For items that are missing a series refresh would be needed to get metadata again and possibly a library scan

The zip was deleted as the plugin got updated in the catalog.  So all you have to do is restart your server to get the update or go to the plugin catalog and re-install the new update.

 

But if you want to do it manually, you have to SSH to Program data path: /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins.

Oh k thank you i misunderstood it but now when i restarted it said that needed it to restart again for the update too be done

Did you Refresh the metadata for those series and do a library scan?  I have Upcoming entries for Simpsons and Family Guy.

Yea manual refreshes will be required for that information because the tvdb updates api is still not working. Normally it would just be automatic as part of the regular library scan. That's a minor thing though compared to basic metadata retrieval, so we'll just have to wait for them to resolve that.
