Auto organize has been working terrifically until the past (week or so?).  Now it does not identify content of two different shows that it previously has known and has folders for.  When I try to manually select the series and tell it to find content, I get "error Null"

Tonight I saw Emby change the folder name for recordings from TVShow (2019) to TVShow.  This has happened before, probably last time the year was added instead of removed from the folder name.  Is it the fault of the guide data from SchedulesDirect, or is this an Emby quirk that could be improved?

 

All I can think to do now is move the old shows into the new recorded TV folder Emby created.  Which works, but this does seem to happen pretty often, and the manual fiddling seems unnecessary.

Sometime during the last couple of days my Auto Organize plug in has stopped working.

 

I have restarted Emby.

 

Removed and reinstalled the AO plugin.

 

Removed every other plugin (didn't have Anime, but I figured maybe there was something else).

 

Nothing has helped.

 

If I select clear and then try to organize, there is nothing on the screen. I have to reload in order to see that nothing has happened. If I manually insert every file into it's appropriate directory, all is good.

Hi

 

I am suddenly having strange problems with emby. First auto organize said it could not find metadata. I restarted Emby and my synology, but nothing helped. I then deleted, the plugin and when i try to download it again, it just keeps loading. Now i restarted my NAS again, i saw following in dashboard alerts:

 

Check for application updates failed

Check for plugin updates failed

 

I have attached the log.

 

I hope someone have an idea to what it is?

Yes, as the plugin can't get the information from TVDB. ;-)

Give it some days, it will hopefully get fixed anytime soon.

But why can't I download the plug-in again? This only shows problems with the meta info

The log says name resolution failure. Make sure you don't have anything blocking access to our mb3admin.com domain, such as security software, firewall, or VPN .

I have changed mine and it is working again, there are 3 sections that you have to move it to the top of the list

Series metadata downloaders Season metadata downloaders Episode metadata downloaders

 

edit: I'm running 4.3.0.22 beta if that makes any difference

 

Can anyone else confirm that Auto Organize works for them in the beta version?

 

I just went through the process up upgrading to Beta.  Messed up my whole Emby server pretty badly along with way (totally my fault) but now that I am on Beta and have disabled all the TVDB settings for the TV library, Auto Organize is still not working.

 

Very disappointing.

Auto organize works with beta, but you have to disable thetvdb scraper to add episodes to a TV Show. If you need to create a new TV Show, you have to create the folder a run a library scan.

It works for me. Are you trying to add episodes to an existing TV Show? Or you are adding episodes to a new TV Show?

Both things fail for me.  It's still working on the initial library scan after i Fd up everything so maybe that is the issue.  But it sees the series if I try to manually select the location with the browse icon and I still get the result "Null" when trying it.

Server Beta can run Auto Organize even thetvdb fails. So there's a connection with this thread.

It just worked on one of the series sitting there so I am hoping it is just a matter of completing the media scan at this point.  I'll post some logs if it isnt' resolved.  Thanks for your help.

Today I noticed that the Auto-Organize feature no longer works. All episodes just stay inside the import-folder and are marked red in the activity log. It seems the problem is with a cache-file that cannot be found ("System.IO.FileNotFoundException: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file '/media/Storage_Intern/emby/cache/tvdb/70522/en.xml'.").
