Seger 110
In the Kodi.log (debug) I removed the library series. You say you removed TVShows and the are still there. Please use a dedicated Kodi testinstance. With a fresh Kodi installation! I tested this scenario countless times and without a dedicated Kodi environment, impossible to say what happens. Such a bug report should be based on a complete new Kodi installation, sync TVShows, remove TVShows and confirm that Episodes/Shows are still there. Seger 110
I didn't have any leftovers when I deleted the entire database, the log should also look clean. I only had some when I deleted the library, but it could also be that it was just a cache and it was still shown in the widgets. for now, no main focus on remnants. add the database to a fresh database, log now attached kodi.log

Tenker 5
Yes, unfortunately the same. My playlists that run under v8.x.x. do not work in the new version.
quickmic 1373
Ok, wait for 9.4.0 version or change the node from: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> <smartplaylist type="movies"> <name>Emby Filme.Neue</name> <match>all</match> <rule field="tag" operator="is"> <value>Filme.Neue</value> </rule> </smartplaylist> to: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> <smartplaylist type="movies"> <name>Emby Filme.Neue</name> <match>all</match> <rule field="tag" operator="is"> <value>Filme.Neue (Library)</value> </rule> </smartplaylist> If you modify it, you must change it again when 9.4.0 is released. Home2008 20
Ich habe jetzt folgendes Gemacht: 1. Neueste Kodi Nightly installiert 2. Emby 9.x deinstalliert, Kodi beendet und alle Datenreste von Emby Unter User/Kodi gelöscht. 3. Kodi neu gestartet, und Emby 9.x installiert. Es wird nachgefragt: Addon Standart = Ja, Server => Benutzer ausgewählt, PW eingegeben. Danach passiert nichts mehr. Keine Frage danach welche Bib ausgewählt werden soll. Keine Aktuallisierung. Filme Leer, Rest ist vorhanden. I have now done the following: 1. installed the latest Kodi Nightly 2. uninstalled Emby 9.x, quit Kodi and deleted all data left over from Emby under User/Kodi. 3. restarted Kodi and installed Emby 9.x. You are prompted: Addon Standart = Yes, Server => User selected, PW entered. Nothing happens after that. No question about which library should be selected. No update. Films Empty, rest is available. kodi.zip

LittleWizard 29
I don't write as before because for me embyforkodi is not fully functional and I'm giving up even if I appreciate the effort put in this project. Now I use it only on one device to reduce problems, but also this way it is not fully reliable. For example few hours ago I deleted low quality episodes of a tvshows and replaced with high quality ones. On Emby everything ok, but on kodi the seasons replaced are missing. I setted sync date one day older, tried to force tvshows resync, but nothing. I will do a full resync again, but surely there are still problems. LittleWizard 29
Ps I noted that removing libraries from syn doesn't work. I'll do a global db reset but I spend more time in resetting everything than watching movies. Addendum: resetting didn't work this time. Library is void. Trier removing and reinstalling plugin, but still no luck. I'll check the log tomorrow, something is crashing sync. If only emby app would enhance interface (smaller fonts, smarter graphics and better seek commands) we could forget the complication of EmbyforKody which is a added layer of problems. By now version 7 was the best, early 8 was really good than it started gaining bugs till end of 8. 9 seems to be a little better mainly because of but still buggy. Obviously it could be also because of kodi bugs and emby server bug. Adding a layer of complexity like EmbyforKody is a risk. I think would be better to focus on enhancing emby app interface. I am never going to stop using Kodi yes syncing data to the Kodi internal database can be an problematic, even the Kodi team don't recommend it, it has many places it can go wrong and keeping it up to date is not a trivial task. you could try the dynamic nodes option in EmbyForKodi or EmbyCon (a different addon for Kodi) as these don't try to sync your data to the internal Kodi DB they just give you a dynamic view of what is on the Emby server. These dynamic approaches also have their issues but for a simpler solution with less hassle they can be a good alternative.
