Lol. These cards have version 19, there is a version 20 you can use, if you want to. I'm not bothering. They work well, as is.

Does yours now boot to the LSI BIOS, too?

no - even though i loaded the bios (do not need it with IT mode apparently) - my Intel 10g X540 cards swamp the bios screen and before anyhting else gets a chance windows is off to the races

Interesting. I'll have to see what happens when I put my X540 card, in

i assumed there was nothing to configure as its in IT mode - is there any options in the IT bios?

you get two bios screens from the 540 - one for each port - for lan booting - just not turned that off yet - might let the lsi then be seen

could be that i have the lan card in the first pcie slot and the lsi in the second

There are a few options in the BIOS. The one that I changed, was to disable driver control by the BIOS and only let the OS have control of the driver. It boots a little quicker. I didn't really explore the other options.

They are coming from San Diego, so it should be pretty close

If it still show in transit to destination then it hasn't been off loaded it or still in route as they make lots stop for drop off & pickup along the way so don't worry even knowing that one downside to USPS.

The stuff next to it is the ribbon cable and parts for it. Really wish I could buy everything but the hard drives and get it up and running.

Raid card came in. In trying to get a idea how mount it. I don't think the stand offs are going to work. Still looking at it.
