    Channel swapping in Live TV

Over the past year Emby has begun to be a really good app for all my entertainment needs but there’s one feature I would love to see and that is a ease of use when it comes to swapping channels. On my Apple TV I have an app from my local TV provider where we easy can toggle between channels. To explain better I’ve attached a little videoclip with the feature they have on their app. FullSizeRender.MOV
  2. PBS kids tends to start shows 5 minutes after the scheduled time (i.e. 7:35 AM not 7:30AM). I would prefer the flexibility to delay the start . Live TV > Series > Start when possible ..."-5" minutes before. Currently both fields do not allow negative numbers. Maybe even the flexibility to cut the recording short from the designated time slot as well, though I haven't experienced this use case.
  3. Good Afternoon Gentlemen, Would it be possible to add an option that would allow the Date Added behavior for new content to be "Premiere or Air Date"? For years, I have used Android clients running Kodi to connect to the Emby Server. The Time Lord plugins run as a scheduled task every 15 minutes, somehow manipulating data that Kodi recognizes. When using Kodi, the Recently Added list always sorts/reflects content by its Premiere/Air Date rather than the File Creation Date or the Date Added. I have recently switched over to using the Native Emby Client Apps for LG & Samsung TV's. Great Work! It's beautiful & much simpler. That being said, I miss the part where recently added items reflect content by Premiere/Air Date. Does this option already exist & if not, would you consider adding it? Best- Darren

    Important feature request

Hi guys, I'd like to respectfully request an option in Emby Theater to opt out of future updates and remain on the current software version. Two reasons: 1. I don't like handing over control of apps installed on my machine to someone else. I may be forced to do it with Microsoft Windows, or Google Chrome, but that's not my choice. 2. It seems that quite frequently an Emby Theater upgrade breaks something. It happened a few weeks ago and all we could see was a black screen. It happened a few other times before that, too, if I'm not mistaken. And then yesterday the update from 2.5.35 to 2.5.36 broke playback again, requiring installation of 2.5.37 as a fix. I had to resort to other means to watch my media yesterday, until the new version came along. I know it's not easy for you to debug a new version, so you should at least give us an option to upgrade later once we can see if there are any bad effects, or you've baked in some killer feature we can't live without. If I'm perfectly happy with my system as it is, I shouldn't be forced to accept a new version until I decide I want or need it. Thanks for taking my request into account in an upcoming version.
