    Yes. I updated to 4.8.6 and then went back to the Peter and the Wolf title with both users and saw the same response. However, I haven't tried clearing and re-setting anything.

    Hi, thanks for following up. I understand this is your anecdotal evidence, but this isn't the reason. Emby Connect is not required. We are aware that in some rare circumstances this error message is displayed erroneously when the true problem is just a normal connection failure. We will look into chasing those cases down so that we can have the app display a better message. My guess for your case - Emby Connect connected with a different server url then you were trying to use manually, and so that's why it worked. Does the address you were trying manually match what is displayed on your Emby Server dashboard?
  5. The book itself doesn't have a stored watch state, just live tv series don't either. the state is always determined by that of the episodes. however i do see some issues with audiobooks compared to tv series, so I'm looking into those. Thanks.

    Can there be a feature for the ROKU or any device really to be able to REMOVE the SONGS row and just show the albums for the artist? Also show in the ARTIST view; the albums in GRID format not ROW?

After recording a Live TV show, I convert the show using the custom profile using the following settings Container: "mkv" Video codec: "hevc,h264" Audio codec "aac" Quality: "Original quality" the resulting file is missing the subtitles. However, when using the "TV" profile, the resulting file preserves the closed caption subtitles. I think the Custom profile should preserve the closed caption subtitles.     Fix audio delay

    Being able to delay the audio would be amazing for me. My home theater receiver maxes out at a 200ms audio delay but my Sony OLED has more than 200ms of video delay (when not in game mode), so I can never get the audio and video in sync for all content. This has got to be a problem for others with Sony OLED tvs. For example, my standalone 4k bluray player has dual HDMI output so that one can go to the TV and the other to the home theater, to help with audio sync issues, but even on that, the Sony OLED introduces more than 200ms of video delay. Sony's not an uncommon brand and they don't have boatloads of OLED models to choose from. The benefit of this would be for quite a few people, by my estimate. If this were implemented I'd finally have a home theatre which beats out the local movie theatres.

    So this isn't an issue anymore, my brother went through the forums and found a post that you will need to sign in to the emby connect on the app and then connect to the emby instance. And then after that is any if our phones had no issue connecting even the ones that did not had me sign into emby connect. I feel that this should be something of note in the documentation or something. But good to know I guess.

    Everything's been rebooted. There wouldn't be any interference really (at least with the roku tv) as it sits directly beside the modem/router, and the server is on a switch further away

    Have you done a full reboot of all the hardware involved? That is server, clients and router and anything else that sits between the Rokus and the server. I have had failed attempts to connect caused by just about everything in the chain. Also you could have something else creating wireless interference if your clients are wireless or placing noise on your network if they are wired.

    Forever loading after selecting server

    I'm running into a problem across 2 tvs. With 1 tv being an actual Roku TV, the other being a roku express. Whenever I select my server it just sticks on this page (pic attached) and will not go past it. It works perfectly fine on my LG tv and my mom's Samsung tv but just not the Roku.
  19. So my emby premier server has a Gforce 1060 for the hardware transcoding option. I have not hacked the driver so I am restricted to two transcodes at a time due to NVidia's limit restriction. Is the A310 as good or faster at transcoding than the 1060? Thinking of switching if fast enough and to get past the two transcode limit without a driver hack... Searched extensively and cannot find applicable results to help me figure this out. THANKS!!!
