  1. I have discovered recently that this is also happening on my server. However, when I view it through the browser interface all 3 versions appear but when I view it through the Roku app there are only 2. For audio tracks I have sometimes noticed only two of the 4 are listed but by cursoring up (in Roku) I find the other two. However, this doesn't work/apply to movie versions. Cursoring up does not reveal additional versions it scrolls to the bottom of the list (of 2).
  2. This is a very peculiar issue I have been unable to solve. I don't have many movies with multiple versions, but one that I do is the original Star Wars trilogy. See photo of the naming below. Files are named identical to the folder they are in plus extra at the end in [ ] to indicate the version. Emby picks up all 3 of these versions just fine as shown in the second photo. Going into each of these shows that they are in fact the 3 different versions. BUT! If I select all 3 of them and use the Group Versions option, I get a single item that replaces the 3 but within that item there are only 2 of the versions available. No matter what I do I can't get the third to show up. I can group any 2 versions together just fine (leaving a second entry for the third version) but as soon as I try to group 3 of them I only get 2. I've tried using the more official ' - ' naming scheme to indicate version information at the end but that doesn't make a difference. I have scoured the logs but can't see anything of interest in there. Emby Server 4.8.1.0 running in docker on Linux. Server log attached - in this log I did the following: restarted server to get a clean log navigated to my Star Wars collection selected the 3 versions and used option to group them went into that new grouped item and saw there are only 2 versions available used the option to split versions apart went back to Star Wars collection and we're back where we started (3 versions showing when not grouped together) embyserver.txt
  3. As the title suggests, I'm having a problem with double versions of the same episodes (not movies but "TV series"). I say "TV Show" because they are "+18 H." (screenshots will be censored for security). The question is simple: In theory they are renamed right. My rule follows this pattern: Show Name - SxxEyy - Release Group Name 1 [TV] + Release Group Name 2 [BD] - OEyyy - Episode Title - Extra Info from original release Ex: [1080p] Where is it: TV if subtitles are present are based on the TV version of the video. OE = Original Episode For example, an OVA that would be episode 25 of a series on TheTVDB is perhaps considered s00e13. By doing so I know that s00e13 is actually ep 25 of the absolute numbering. Wrapped OE is the absolute number of that episode, EX: "One Piece - s21e59 - OPF HD - OE950 - .mp4". Now, that episode of the group "HF", is seen as ep 1 but separate from episode 1 of [80vogliadihentai]: So if I select them and group them (which should merge them into a single entry) I should solve the problem, right? This happens instead: The episode of the group "HF" disappears and if I open the only episode 1 available, it is as before (as a single episode, no choice). Also, I can't even tell him to delete the group because it just isn't created (apparently). Maybe I'm noob I and something wrong? The result I thought I was getting is like for movies (where this problem doesn't arise). I want to clarify one thing, this problem has been present for like 3 4 months, emby updates itself ... So I don't think it's a specific version bug. Thanks in advance
  4. I manually group some movies. For example regular version and director's cut. I keep them in separate folders so I don't mind manually grouping. My question is how does Emby decide which version to show for the new grouped items? For all but two sets, the first item I checked is the one that shows after grouping. For the other two sets, it doesn't matter what I do, the second movie (director, special, extended, etc.) is the one showing afterwards. I don't want the special version to show when grouped. I only want the base movie to show. How can I get that to happen? Is there something that Emby uses to decide which movie to show as the "group?" Thanks.
  5. Anyone who is running Emby Server 3.0.5641.5 - areyou able to use the 'Select' function? This is found when you bring up your entire Movie list and hit the 'tick'. It creates an overlay over all your Movie covers so you can select them and add them to a playlist or group them as I am trying to do. It used to work fine on 3.5597.1 but no longer does.
  6. Hi - a long time user of xbmc/kodi but recently moved over to Emby, the quality of which is just amazing so well done for all those who contributed!! I'm going through my library and manually grouping content together where I have multiple resolution copies, however I'm getting stuck when I come across content that is already in a collection/box set, I find there is no easy way to group those items. I'm basically applying a genre filter which displays my content outside of the collections so they can be selected. It would be useful if there was 'duplicate' filter/sort option. Or am I missing something here? My server is running on a Synology NAS and I'm using the Web Client. Jas
