    Camera upload issue

    Dear support. In the past I tried a few times to activate camera uploads on my phones. It, in some ways, worked, but always with the same issue; it created maybe 5/10 library with the same path and settings. And so I had to manually delete them and then disable camera upload function. Today, after many app updates, I'd want to retry. Unfortunately, it creates 1680 and counting libraries! Please, help me removes them automatically, it takes so much time to remove one by one and please, try to find a solution to the problem. Thanks a lot.

    Weird Chromecast freezing

    Like the title says, videos load fine on my android phone. But when casted it plays for 1-2 seconds, then the screen freezes but audio continues to play. Even fast forwarding the same issue arises. Is there any solution to this?

    Emby doesn't detects hard drive

    Hi! I've recently installed Emby on Linux Mint Ulyana (Cinnamon), and there is an issue that i need to resolve. I have all my media (Series & Movies) in an intern secondary hard drive. This hard drive is mounted on /media/user/Multimedia. The problem is that when I try to add a library on Emby, pointing where the hard drive is mounted, it sais "The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again." I tried changing all permissions but nothing happened. I also tried to give the emby user the ownership, but it stills not detecting it.     USB Installation problem

    Good morning I am having an issue with the usb installation. I insert the usb into the TV, but it doesn't automatically install the software. I have followed all the instrutions: - put the userwidget folder in the root of the usb - format the usb 2.0 to fat16 My TV is Samsung UE50RU7105 Any advice? (I can also post in Spanish)
  9. Unsure if this has been mentioned before but during playback while casting from android phone when I need to fast forward or rewind sometimes it starts the movie or TV show over. Was wondering if others sometimes had the same issue? I noticed if I click rewind once and let it load it seems to mostly be fine. But not always. Also if I double click fast forward or rewind, this seems to be a way to get your progress erased. But also not always.

I have a problem when streaming with Chromecast 2 gen, doesn't matter where it came from (Android, IOS, Web, etc) When watching some tv series, the playback is in great quality, smooth and RANDOMLY jump / skip to the next episode. It simply happen from NOWHERE. I don't know if it is my PC that is the problem or the chromecast itself. What kind of Logs do you guys need to check? I have at least 20 logs just from today trying to watch a single episode...
  11. So, I've got a baffling issue. I cannot remotely connect to the MB server I have running on a Windows 10 machine. I've tried all suggestions on the connectivity page. But even with the firewall temporarily off, I cannot connect. Local connections work fine. I don't have access to router settings due to the apartment complex having all the routers locked down (whitelist probably). But I even tried using my mobile hotspot and no dice.     Annoying issues

    Hello Folks, I searched this whole forum looking for further information about the annoying issues below but I didn´t find anything 1) WTF happens that my collections always seem to get corrupt? I mean, sometimes I take some time joining a huge amount of movies into a collection and make sure the option "Group into collections" is checked but in many libraries they keep being displayed as single itens. I deleted the whole content of /var/lib/emby/data/collections/ and even reinstall Emby on my server but nothing seems to resolve this. Is there a fix or even a workaround to it? 2) M
  13. This only happens on my mobile device in shows that have a high number of seasons (20+). When I try to direct play (or direct stream idk the difference), this is how it looks like: https://i.imgur.com/EAkg2Qu.png . I'm using the latest emby server and emby app updates. This happens for all the episodes in the show. If I set the quality low enough (1 mbps) it forces transcoding instead of direct play and everything works as normal. I'd like to see this fixed so I can play it at full quality instead of having to set it low. I'm on a Pixel XL, Android 9.
  14. I just got a notification that there was an update for the server on my Shield, 4.4 I believe. Downloaded it through Chrome but after the 'staging app' screen when I click Install I immediately get an 'App not Installed' message. Tried downloading it to various places, internal drive, connected drive but exactly the same behaviour. I then tried the beta as well, but again exactly the same thing. I'm not really sure what else I can try other than uninstall the current version, which is 4.3.1.0 but obviously that's a last resort as it's going to mean setting everything up again and will take

    Question about my Administrator user

    I am unable to login to Open Subtitles on my Emby installation, on my Synology DS218+ NAS. I am an Emby Premiere member, and have checked that my login/password details for Open Subtitles are correct. When I click 'save', I get a spinning circle symbol that appears and nothing further happens. Any ideas how to fix this? Screenshot attached. Thanks!
  16. So I have some anime movies with dual audio and both audio tracks work fine when played locally on VLC but when played from the emby app one of the tracks (so far only English) would play with no sound. Any fixes ?

Hello, I just started ripping my Blue-Ray discs and I tested one of the two I ripped but it freezes a minute into playing in the browser at the same place every time and about 30 minutes into playing on the Apple TV (this was after a reboot of the server). The file is .MKV and is 26.6 GB and after a reboot and a fresh install of EMBY server I was able to play it all the way through, however another movie that is ~36 GB I press play and it will play for a few seconds and then stop and say "Opps, something when wrong. I'm running the Emby app off an Android box with a typical mediacentre style remote and it's close to impossible to navigate using the arrow/directional keys as GUI elements are seemingly navigable at random. Most section titles on the home screen can be navigated to, but not all; individual titles on the home screen are unreachable; etc. It seems the only way to use the Android app is using touch/mouse input, which is not very comfortable doing from the couch.     Visual rendering issue

    I am experiencing a visual contrast effect on my LG V10. I have tested it on several other phones with no issue. Also the mobile browser on the V10 works fine. I have reinstalled the app and updated the server but the issue persists. I have attached the mobile and server logs as well as screenshots from within the app and from the mobile browser.   20. Hi, This is some logs from the android Server Emby on a H96 pro plus Android Tv Box. I manage to install emby server, configure to read data from a smb server (a synology Nas). 1) when i try to play a tv serie (video is in mkv x265 HD) i get some error (see the logs).   21. Hi, I'm having a fairly recent problem (not sure which version of Emby this has started from). When I try to stream a Live TV channel it doesn't play, I just get the spinning circle of death but when I refresh the page and try to play again it works fine.   22. I am trying to map OTA channels to xmltv, but I have run into an issue. Some OTA channels have "programs" which appear as sub channels in the form of "chan.sub".   24. There is an issue with Emby's guide, where information from Schedules direct is being overwritten by the wrong data downloaded from the internet. Here is the data as seen in NextPVR, which reads from my schedules direct account And here is the same movie as seen by Emby I believe the root case could be related to the show having a translated title.   25. Over the last couple of months, as I've sporadically upgraded emby, I've noticed some content streaming issues via DLNA to my KDL-42W670A. I've had these in the past but was extremely happy with how comprehensive emby was before now. Until Jan 1st I don't think I'd ever actually had something streamed by emby give me an Unsupported content warning. The most understandable is when something will stream, gives the warning, but then audio or video wont work... but extremely confusingly and somewhat telling that something is set wrong in the profile, I have a complete show that plays fine, A
