Looking forward to this, Its causing me a real issue. Camera uploads are a pain.

Jep camera upload is a no go.

And I want the option to turn it off.

One could say, that its up to the client user, not to enable it.

But users are not always the most clever people.

 

I had a friend out sailing, in his drunken stupidity he had turned it on.

His wife and him where sharing there account.

 

He had a good time, but his wife whs not happy.

She could see everything he was doing, tbh that ok, if you behave.

He did not, if you follow my drift.

He is no longer married.

 

The worst part was that other users also could see what he was doing.

I still think it's absolutely insane that as an owner/operator of a server, it is not possible to stop users from uploading files to my server if they chose to (or even do so accidentally).

 

Your only option is to convince that user to disable the option again, or disable the users access entirely.

 

I'm glad to see it being fixed for 4.8, but that's been an extremely slow rollout with no release date in sight. This request is almost 7 years old now...
