evainoemi 1
Hi, concerning: I'm going to start a poll soon to help me prioritize the next round of screenplay enhancements. Here's what's under consideration currently: "binge watch" option for TV series: when an episode finishes, screenplay will automatically start a countdown for the next unwatched episode. Alternate Audio Track support Collection Grouping support Music Library support Photo Library support Live TV support List mode option for collection detail screen (replaces index search) Filter capability on collection detail screen (genre etc...) collection detail screen remembers its position more relevant content on collection summary screens Add "checked" button on Item detail screen to toggled watched state What other enhancements would you like to see on this list? because I live in Spain, I personally prefer to give priority to "Alternate Audio Support" since here and many others countries generally the movies are released with the main audio bent and the track with the original secondary version. Alternate Audio Support assign option to color key in remote control settings pressing color key toggles alternate audio (need to check emby server to see if these tracks work like subtitles, otherwise I'll present a radio button popup to allow alternate audio track selection). Thank you very much for your attention.
muppets4 23
Great! What I would like is a 'next episode' option for series I am watching. Like it is with the Emby Theater app for PC/Android.

thefad3done 2
I found a way around this (if you plan to only use one account for your TV that is) is to quickly allow that user to be seen on the login screen, login and then re-hide it. Providing you don't log out of your TV, it'll stay signed in. Edited October 11, 2017 by thefad3done
HumanPanda 5
Has anyone gotten HDR to work for this?
kwilcox 78
Yes. Screenplay will handle HDR streams when direct play is on. However, streaming HDR requires an AC WiFi or direct ethernet connection to your emby server for smooth playback. I use a pair of Comtrend WAP-5940s for this. mastrmind11 717
I know but they are too many.. Screenplay or Emby won't do it for me? Screenplay is limited by a bug in webOS that plays subs by default, w/ no way to turn them off. In Emby, you can toggle them either at the admin level, or per viewing w/in the app If you want to remove embedded subs entirely, check out mkvtoolnix. It's a single line command that runs in under 30 secs for a feature length film. I have it as part of a post precessing script which removes subs prior to moving into the Emby library. However, if I weren't using an LG device I wouldn't bother since the Emby client(s) would just properly honor the sub settings I have in the admin panel.

Besides that. I don't believe that it's related with a bug on webOS. And I'm saying this because if I use the SmartShare app, I can see what is in my Emby library and when playing the movie, the embed subtitles aren't shown. Here's how you'd do it from the command line: # assume input.mkv has 3 subtitle tracks # remove subtitle track 2 (copy 1&3) from input.mkv & save to output.mkv mkvmerge -o output.mkv --subtitle-tracks 1,3 input.mkv # remove all subtitles (copy none) mkvmerge -o output.mkv --no-subtitles input.mkv
joaorsfonseca 1
That script must run before adding the item to Emby's library right? How can i fix all my movies that already were added to library? Besides that, I can watch the same video with MediaShare app from LG without the embedded subtitles
