From, I've watched 7 episodes and it's one of them shows the gets you hooked. It's directed by the same guy that did Lost so hopefully it doesn't get lost like that series. :)

Worth a go I think if you like small town Stephen King type horror stuff. It's been given a green light for a second season on Epix Studios. So it will be interesting to see where it goes.

You guys had me interested right up until you mentioned "Lost". :)

I sometimes felt "lost" trying to watch it. LOL

Yep I here ya, I was sceptical to, especially being from the guys that made Lost. :)

It's a horror mystery (quite gruesome in some parts), It reminds me of Stephen King. I guess the similarity with Lost is WTF is going on here, which is what gets you hooked to watch one more episode I guess.

Thank god there's a second season because the ending of the first is the same WTF...  :)

Hopefully it won't end up like Lost.

Anyone watching this season of The Orville New Horizons?

It is really something else. I have to say the new format for the show is hitting all the marks for me.

But, I'm an old school Trek fan.

Yea mate, I'm a old school Trek fan too! Total sci-fi nerd really.. :)

Since Hulu took over form Fox the production quality seems to have been bumped up (special effects/sets etc.), the comedy aspects are not as prevalent as the first two seasons but that's ok, it still has a light heartedness which is cool.

Hey look! They didn't change Worf's Klingon style to crappy Discovery style Klingons!

Horray!

Yea that's cool, looking forward to season 3 of Star Trek: Picard! :)

I enjoyed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds too, based on the original Star Trek pilot episode The Cage. 👍 It also looks like Strange New Worlds will use the more traditional Klingon style for the 2nd season.

I also thought that Strange New Worlds was written and produced really well.

I was worries initially because when I watched Star Trek Discovery, it put a sour taste in my mouth.

Discovery has great sets, and makeup.

They even have some great sci-fi actors.

But, the writting on the show is absolutely horrific.

The story line is bad, and why is the main character always "whisper-crying"?

It's just a very odd take on Star Trek.

But, I have really grown to love Strange New Worlds.

They seem to be following a more standard Star Trek type of writting. Its great!

Yea I totally agree. Strange New Worlds has that original vibe as well as the episodic tempo, I like it! :)

Discovery not so much for all the reasons you mentioned. I must admit I watched it (because I love sci-fi) but It didn't hold true for me personally. The first seasons was watchable but then it degraded into a total mess.

And now for something completely different...

I'm really enjoying "The Offer" but "The Godfather" is one of my all-time favs.

Well, I can see that DC has released Harley Quinn's third season...

After watching the first episode, I'm going to have to lock down the server again. There is noooo way the kids can ever see that smut.

Funny, but ... really pushing the limits there... jeez.

Just finished watching "Keep Breathing".

The entire series is on Netflix.

Six 30 minute episodes.

Excellent series. I can't not recommend watching it enough.

You'll be hooked on the first episode and binge the entire thing. 😉

Brilliant writting and directing.

Hi mate, yea this is a adult animation for sure! It's a shame really that they went over the top with bad language etc. If they had stayed true to some of the other DC series (Justice League/Young Justice) it would still have been good.

I'm a huge DC animated fan (especially the movies) but this series could have been handled better so it was more kids friendly.

Whoa! You weren't kidding. This is a great story. I had no idea the film had actual ties to the Italian mafia.

Oh don't say 'mafia', take it outta the script 😆

Wild!

I'm sorry but She Hulk is absolutely horrible. The premise is obviously fine, but the narrative, and the way the events unfold is just terrible. Why Marvel?... I love you... Why do the events of this first episode get written like that? Racing to tell a story never ends well.

You watch, they'll rely on cameos from our favorite character to push the story along.

I saw that advertised last night and shook my head.  Women leads are very trendy at this point in history.
