  1. I have a couple of media folders holding football and basketball games I've recorded. I recently came accross a metadata website for sports called http://thesportsdb.com. Would it be possible to add a field like the other metadata fields to pull information from that site to fill in fanart, description, dates, etc.? Ii'm not sure if it would require a new media "type" folder called sports, similar to tv and movies. I've linked a couple pages, the first is the API for returning information from the db. http://www.thesportsdb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5 The second is example json (I believe) data http://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/1/searchteams.php?t=Cleveland%20Indians
  2. It's about that time again, so this long requested item is on my mind. We need to be able to record based on additional schedule data such as the description in order to support this. Yes, wish list recording, ... is something that will eventually come, however this would be extremely nice to have sooner than later. I can find the previous threads/requests for this if/as needed. I'm just curious when this may be on the radar? I'm kind of thinking not so much for this NFL season (which hasn't even started yet), but am hopeful and thought I'd ask. This has worked with HDHR DVR for quite some time now, and I don't believe they have full blown wishlist recording (I could be wrong, haven't used it in a while now). Thanks.
  3. Dear Emby Team Quick question, I have created a new library called "my sports" where I want to keep major sports events like prior NFL Super Bowl playoff videos etc. I'm not sure of how to go about the naming convention so the metadata gets loaded accurately (like the case for movies or TV etc) Could you please give me some guidance on how I should lay out / name my sports videos? Many thanks Rob

    DVR Scheduling Sports

I'd like to set up a schedule to record my favorite team, but I don't want to record every episode of "NHL Hockey" that shows up in my listing. Is there some way to manage this without having to go in and manually set up specific episodes to record? Back in my old MythTV days, I had a power schedule set up that recorded all NHL Hockey with subtitle including "Montreal" which worked pretty well for me, and I'd like to do something similar with my Emby DVR setup. How are other people managing this?
