  1. Hi ! I use my own videos which have SRT sidecars. I want the search engine to take into account the text in these SRT files, is that something emby could do ? For instance if I type the word "sleep", it will show any video which has the occurrence "sleep" in its subtitle file, better yet, when I click on the video, it takes me to the exact location of this occurrence. Is that implemented or supported by any plugin ? Thanks in advance !
  2. It's about that time again, so this long requested item is on my mind. We need to be able to record based on additional schedule data such as the description in order to support this. Yes, wish list recording, ... is something that will eventually come, however this would be extremely nice to have sooner than later. I can find the previous threads/requests for this if/as needed. I'm just curious when this may be on the radar? I'm kind of thinking not so much for this NFL season (which hasn't even started yet), but am hopeful and thought I'd ask. This has worked with HDHR DVR for quite some time now, and I don't believe they have full blown wishlist recording (I could be wrong, haven't used it in a while now). Thanks.
  3. If this is available now please point me to it! It would be great if we could get keyword or wishlist recording. Something similar to what is in WMC. I use it quite frequently in WMC when I am scheduling things to record. If WMC doesn't find a particular series or movie I will then choose "wishlist or keyword" and then choose from Actor Name, Director Name, Movie Title, Program Title or Generic Keyword. I can then choose from several options including channel, new/repeat etc. Very handy for when I see or hear about future series or specials I can set it up and WMC will record it when it shows up. I don't know if this is possible and/or planned for Emby but it would be huge. Thanks for reading and considering!
  4. Hi, From reading the forums I gather that Emby always downloads the first subtitle it finds for a certain show or movie. In my experience this means that the majority of subtitles Emby downloads are incorrect. This is especially true for tv shows and non English subtitles. I would to request a feature to only download subtitles if a certain keyword is found in the filename to filter out subtitles that don’t match the source. E.g. only download subtitles if DVD is present in the filename. This should increase accuracy to a near 100%, especially for tv shows, where accuracy is now around 0% for me.
