  1. When playing back some files on my Samsung TV, I notice that it pixelates sometimes, and also stutters. When I stop playback and try again, it does these two things at the exact same points. This leads me to believe that it is a playback issue where the TV is unable to play the file back properly for some reason. When I play back the files on my Mac (using the Beta app), it works fine, and is smooth. I only notice this on my TV. Logs: https://pastebin.com/4FbYBpvD Picture of pixelated playback is attached.
  2. Hi, I'm using docker version emby in ds 218+. 3. I have an issue with streaming to Chromecast Audio from the Andorid app. Starting a stream to Chomecast in the middle of playing a track on the phone will result in unresponsive audio on that phone. After Chromecast is selected, the playback controls in the app would control Chromecast stream, but the original stream on the phone will continue to play and there's no way to control it now. 4. Hello, Please find below my media playback issue report: Source file stream mediainfo: Video: 4998 Kbps, 1920*1080 at 23.976 fps, HEVC (Main@L4@Main) Audio: 495 Kbps, 48.0 KHz, 6 channels / 2 channels, AAC (LC) Playback results: Emby: 3.3.0.0 Playback Device: iPhone 7 Plus Playback OS: iOS 11.2.6 Player: Safari Instance 1: Occurred ~00:53 - Emby user profile with enabled video transcoding policy - Playback result: Video and Audio transcoded to h264/mp3 Instance 2: Occurred ~01:05 - Emby user profile with disabled video transcoding policy - Playback result: Black/blank video output, stuttering audio output. Attached are obfuscated logs. Happy to private message the original logs but this should be more than enough detail. Note: I attempted using Aloha browser (my goto for iOS), and the iOS app and got the same results as with Safari, but was expecting transcoding in both. No fault found. -lateparty Edit 20170304 - Attachment deleted by user.

    Constant Loading on Roku 2

I've been testing the playback quality and consistency for Recorded Media through my HDHOMERUN Connect. My roku 2 can play my local dvds and bluray files without any issues. However, I recently recorded a "Track and Field" sports program and it constantly buffers/loads every 1-3 minutes when I try to play it back on my roku 2. Emby is set to: -Convert to MP4 on the fly -Preserve original video & audio -Transcoding is set to "Auto" for the thread count -"Throttling" is enabled for Transcoding Roku is set to: -30 Mbps UHD for the Video Quality Stream (i changed this to 20 Mbps but with no effect) S7 Edge is set to -20 Mbps HD for the Video Quality Stream (also successfully tested this as 30 Mbps for the stream) Connection -I have a 50 Mbps connection and my roku 2 is wired to a gigabit Ethernet port on my Router. -S7 Edge was on a Wireless AC connection with a link rate of 400 Mbps plus Now I tried playing back the same "Track & Field" recording on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge through the Emby Android App and I had no problems whatsoever. I was reading on similar issues reported and i'm thinking the issue might be because the roku 2 can't play back the native framerate so its still transcoding even though its in a streaming-friendly format but if that is the case, I want to know how to go about fixing it. The 1057pm file should be the roku playback log while the 1054pm file should be the S7 Edge playback log. 7-11-17 @ 1054pm.txt 7-11-17 @ 1057pm.txt
