Hello, I recently added Live TV to my Emby experience and I've noticed the guide information for TELUS Optik, Rogers Cable, and Bell Cable are missing. The only guides available are for Satellite guide data which doesn't have some of the channels available in regular cable. Is there something I am missing? It seems there are only 3 different guides available for Canada (SHAW Direct, Bell ExpressVu, and TELUS Satellite). Thanks! ***Realized I should have added to "Emby Provided Guide Data". Hi all, I apologize in advance if this is covered somewhere butt I am not very good with this stuff so need a bit of hand holding. I have a paid IPTV online service I use but wanted to use the EMBY app on my smart tv. I do not see how to properly set it up for that. I did buy a month of premier service for EMBY, downloaded the IPTV plugin but it only lets me input the web address not the access credentials for it. I can't get it to show on my tv and feel very lost. Any easy to understand help would be appreciated!!!

Hi, I want to use IPTV on Emby. If I go to the Settings/LiveTV settings, I clicked m3u Tuner, added the URL, set max connections to 2 and added it. No Channels could be found. If I open the URL in VLC, it just works fine. If I put the URL in my Chrome, it downloads the m3u, so why is it not working with Emby? What am I doing wrong? URL looks like this: http://iptv.abcdefg.tv:99999/get.php?username=abcdefgh&password=abcdefg&type=m3u_plus&output=ts //edit: running emby-server-synology72_4.7.14.0_x86_64.spk on my syno ds720+ with dsm7.2-64570 //edit2: If I download the m3u file, copy it to my NAS and put the m3u file directly in the box instead of the URL, than Emby says, I need to check, if the provider is reachable. I checked it, it is reachable and working. Best regards

Hello ! I wanted to know if someone could explain me the syntax to make a series on my personal iptv! I explain myself I upload my series on my server in the directory /www/html/series/name of my series I modify my M3U file and I just put #EXTINF:-1 tvg-logo="https://media.s-bol.com/PzjlnvOGq8L2/550x825.jpg" group-title="[HD] Chainsaw Man S01", EP 01 http://localhost/series/live/Chainsawman/1.mkv then the same for the 2 etc, except that on my iptv it puts it like this (see screen 1) But I would like that when I click on the series it shows me as a kind of panel where I can choose the episode and the season without that it puts me all the episodes like that I know that a syntax of the m3u file allows to do that but I don't find it. please help me (I don't use admin panel because it's local only for me) I do everything via m3u file)

My IPTV provider recently switched to using self-signed 10-year certificate. This has caused emby to throw an error about an untrusted cert and will no longer play any streams. How can I allow emby trust the certificate? Does the self signed cert need to be trusted at a system level or perhaps installing the cert to "/var/lib/emby/.dotnet/corefx/cryptography/x509stores/"? The IPTV server in question is @ https://50.7.100.82/ I have attached the thrown error when attempting to connect to the stream. embyserver.txt

What application you recommend for me to use my live tv subscription on a android Box H96 MAX ?

Hi, I am currently trying to setup my IPTV source (~300 channels) with related EPG data. I have installed the IPTV plugin however it only seems to play the first channel in the source and I can't 'change channel' anywhere. Am I missing something here or do I really need to add in all my channels separately? I'm struggling to find a guide for this... I did read that this is possible in the Live TV section however I don't have Emby Premiere and want to know what I need before subscribing... Thanks in advance.
