  1. Hi, To begin, I must say that I am very impressed with Emby so far. I have been a Plex user for years, and just got tired of the lack of flexibility when it comes to music collections. I stumbled on Emby, and it does exactly what it should do. It gives you a simple way to access large libraries of music without making any assumptions about how you have it organized, or forcing you to completely rearrange it. My collection of music is all MP3s, and is organized by genre. I like to have playlists for each genre and listen to them randomly. Emby handles that in spades. It works flawlessly in the web interface and on the Roku. I have run into a small issue that I'm hoping you can easily fix. This happens on both the web interface and Roku 3 (Emby shows it as SG 3.0.193). On the web interface when I'm viewing playlists and select "Instant Mix" option, nothing happens. On the Roku when I open a music playlist, then select the "Instant Mix" button, it pops a "Playback error". This happens on all 5 of my playlists. My workaround is to use Shuffle for now, which is perfectly fine when on the web interface. It just takes a few more steps on the Roku since I have to play the playlist first, then shuffle it. I am running the latest release of Emby Server (4.3.0.30) on Windows Server 2019. Let me know if you need anything else. Dan.
  2. Instant Mix is broken. Steps 1. Choose an album 2. Press instant Mix 3. Tap on the now playing track at the bottom 4. Tap the "-' on the right to remove the current track. 5. Tap the home button at the top. Music is playing but the now playing control is gone. Returning to music and trying to open an album does nothing.
  3. Similar to the way that instant mix from song starts with the selected song. When creating from artist, have first (few?) song from that artist. When creating from album, have first song be from that album.
  4. I enjoy listening to albums from start to finish. If would be nice to be able to create a playlist that randomizes albums, but maintains the album track order.
  5. When Selecting a Genre you have the option to create an instant mix from the context menu. If Selecting multiple genre's, using the "click and hold" method, I get the green highlight and can select multiple genre's but then can't really do anything with them. Like play, shuffle, Instant Mix. Maybe I'm missing something, if not, this would be a great feature. Thanks
  6. 1) Is it possible to play an instant mix true the remote control on a dlna device? The instant mix works only to play music on the Phone. 2) Shuffle play of a genre with many music causes an out of memory and server crash on low spec devices like a Raspberry Pi. Maybe a default setting with a specific amount of songs tot shuffle can solve this?
  7. Instant Mix is not working on the web interface. When I click the instant mix button I get this error in the console: I am using Ubuntu and chrome to access the web interface.

    Instant Mix on Web Client

Hi all, How the "instant mix" on the web client should work? The instant mixes I currently get do not preserve the contextual browsing scenario (i.e.: genre, artist, etc). The "shuffle" option, instead, queues only the context I am browsing. Should Instant mix queue related artists?
