    DLNA server as media source

Can we use DLNA server as a media source ? I have a Promise SmartStore 4600 Nas Device and it has DLNA server capablity too. I can access the content of the nas device as a standart windows share. But with windows shared files the media players cant use a streaming ability like a DLNA server and this can be a real problem on a wireless network with high rate videos. how can we set a DLNA server as a media source ? Thanks...

    WD play problems

Hi I am new to this so please be gentle. I have installed MB3 on my laptop and added various content so as far as I am concerned I have a DLNA media server running. However when I try to access it using my WD play media streamer on the same local network then the MB3 media server cannot be found. The WD play finds a different media server set up from Windows Media Player 12 Ok. Is there a way I can test if the MB3 is up and running correctly, can I access content from another PC? I am running MB3 on Windows 7 64 bit dell laptop thanks SM
