That sounds kind of slow, but it is a laptop I guess. I can usually remux a file of that size within a few seconds. Return of the King is ~125GB. It takes me about 6 minutes to remux it. It's going to depend a lot on your hardware.

Emby reselling and Plex reselling is very high. For emby though they just pay the sub fee and pass on the cost so no big deal per say. Not hard to run multi dockers of emby on one server with diff keys. Just a minor annoyance but many scripts and platforms automate it.

In certain circumstances, one might need to start from scratch in their library. Providing a "refresh metadata" option that overrides all manual updates (locked items) would be useful. I think a good place for this would be under the "Advanced" Library settings area. A confirmation dialogue box indicating the things that will be impacted would be helpful as well. HI, there is no support for media inside gz files. Best thing to do is unzip them.

Yes, correct, Kodi was up and online in-UI (as opposed to playing video) throughout the changes on the server. Tasks were correctly detected via websocket (library scan in progress, for example). Once the server was done, the client picked up the changes correctly, except for the modification to the Collection. I will need to repeat this test specifically and collect some logs again, as the client was up for hours and the log was a mess.

After I installed the latest update to emby, the live tv guide fails to update. It has done this the last 4 times it has tried to update. Whether I am using the DSM suite version of EMBY, v4.8.50, or the Docker version of EMBY, v4.8.50, some TV dramas always get stuck at a fixed time and don't work. How would I add a vote to have this option (hidden in an annoying spot to as to not accidentally trigger it)?

Anyone on the Emby team have a fix for this trouble for the Emby TV for android app not loading right... this is still a problem with loging back in after an exit of the app... it shows when i hit the button again. invalid user or password. we need a fix for this..i see that the local network login option was removed from the server. it is spinning on "loading" still no login...and i like this app better than that other basic emby android app. this one has a much better menu. like i say if i reinstall it works once.. ok until i exit the emby app. and then it will not login back in after that...that basic emby apk app is working after exiting the app. but not this app for Emby for TV..

I went to another computer in the house that has not been touched since I have tried to fix the problems and Firefox worked with 4.7.14.0. I upgraded to 4.8.5.o, Firefox did not work with this version, just the Emby logo ONLY. I downgraded again to 4.7.14.0 and it worked after clearing the cache/cookie. My problem sounds alot like this persons problem. If I return to the first computer, and clear the cache/cookies, I still cannot use Firefox to access Emby with either server version running on my QNAP TS451+ . HI, looks like you installed the 4.9 beta channel and then rolled back to 4.8. This is not supported. You either need to go back to the beta, or do a fresh start of stable.

HI, just make sure the field is locked. When you use the metadata editor it will lock the field automatically.

Hello, I'm running Ember Server 4.8.5.0 on Windows 10. It's been setup for some time now, though I haven't tried to use it in months. When I tried to today, the server was inaccessible and opening the Emby Server app did nothing (didn't even blip on task manager). Reboot, repeat, no change, so I updated the server to this newest version (4.8.5.0). So the app starts now and I can access the server, but not my actual files. On the home screen I can see the thumbnails for my media but when I try to click on them, the page is blank. This holds for all menu items (TV Shows, Collections, Movies, Metadata Manager). This is what I see when I try to click on TV shows, for example: There are some errors showing up in the log, all of them seem to trace back to the same error: "SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: Error: no such column: Album - select type,Id,StartDate,EndDate,IsMovie,IsSeries,IsKids,IsSports,IsNews, ..." (column name continues on for many, many more lines) If possible, I'd like to avoid rebuilding my library from scratch considering how much time I put into it. Hi, I've found that the .m4a format is the easiest container to use compared to FLAC, MKA, etc. It seems to work well. I also use Foobar and rip both AC3 2.0 and 5.1 tracks in the same manner.

I have adjusted some Parental Ratings on my media and don't want metadata refreshes, or other processes to change them back. How do I setup Emby to keep these manually applied ratings?
