Hello, the same problem with several films, the film runs perfectly on the VLC player. Drivers are up to date and the setting "hardware transcoding" is set to yes

You have a limit set somewhere to 20Mbps.  But not sure why this would happen on your LAN though.

&VideoBitrate=19616000&AudioBitrate=384000
&TranscodeReasons=ContainerBitrateExceedsLimit

2021-04-02 21:32:23.815 Info App: Bitrate exceeds DirectPlay limit: media bitrate: 45032216, max bitrate: 20000000

Hardware transcoding is happening

21:32:22.548 Stream mapping:
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:0 (hevc_cuvid) -> scale_cuda (graph 0)
21:32:22.548   setsar (graph 0) -> Stream #0:0 (h264_nvenc)
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (dts (dca) -> mp3 (libmp3lame))
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:4 -> #1:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:0 -> #1:1 (copy)
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:7 -> #2:0 (subrip (srt) -> webvtt (native))
21:32:22.548   Stream #0:0 -> #2:1 (copy)

Can you explain what the issue/bug is suppose to be?

Are up referring to the low bitrate the encoder is returning as it is set to 20 (-c:v:0 h264_nvenc -b:v:0 19616000 -g:v:0 72 -maxrate:v:0 19616000 -bufsize:v:0 39232000) and returning roughly 1 (21:33:12.189 frame= 4730 fps= 95 q=9.0 size=   24058kB time=00:03:17.47 bitrate=1001.9kbits/s throttle=off speed=3.97x)?

Hello thanks for your help, it happen only with hevc, but not with all hevc movies. In the case of the films where there is an X, the error occurs as a comparison which where it does not occur

  • Solution

This is a known issue with CUVID HEVC decoding.

It is fixed in the latest beta channel, where you're able to choose between CUVID (like in current release) and NVDEC (fix).
