I disabled Path substituion since Md3 server and xbmc runs on the same machine so the paths should be the same.,?

If set up correctly will actors be downloaded and inserted in nfo on first scrape ?

Yeah, that's fine, for now... you never know if some day, you decide to have another one on another platform... My point is that I prefer doing my NFOs once using a path that will always works instead of having to redo them all (from personal experiences lol)

For your actor images, can you show your nfo? (specifically the part about the actors)

lol, Plex doesn't support trailers (biggest feature request they have in there)

But you just need to make sure it follows XBMC standards, the NFO importers agents from Plex will have to fetch from that when/if Plex supports trailers.

Basically, there will never be anything specific to Plex, only XBMC when talking about NFOs.

Ok, SF, give the plugin dev build a whirl.

I just got home, I'm on it.

Damn you guys work fast :)

I have moved my testing over to tvshow and for air order tvshows it works like a charm no comment.

But is there a way to use the dvd order of a show ? or do you have any plans to implement this ?

I see it gets the dvd order in the episode info but my firefly episodes are all mixed wrongly in MB

DVD order

Firefly s01e01 serenity becomes s01e01 the train job (train job is air order)

this could be problematic atleast it is for me I have a watch directory set up when new movies added eventghost launch metadata scraper when scraper is finished eventghost updates xbmc.

wich would result in all new movies being added without actor thumbs, The problem is an update of xbmc after this point dont update the actor thumbs unless I go in and refresh eash new movie

Ok, SF, give the plugin dev build a whirl.

ok, trailer path in NFO is perfect now.

Is the people images fetching on scan supposed to work without running a "refresh people"?

this could be problematic atleast it is for me I have a watch directory set up when new movies added eventghost launch metadata scraper when scraper is finished eventghost updates xbmc.

wich would result in all new movies being added without actor thumbs, The problem is an update of xbmc after this point dont update the actor thumbs unless I go in and refresh eash new movie

OK, if I understand correctly, you movie is added, MB server gets metadata and images, XBMC auto updates on detect and "refresh people" didn't run yet (nfo doesn't have the thumb paths yet). Then, like you mentioned, next XBMC update won't "fix" unless you refresh manually the movie.

Is that right?

not yet

ok, so it's all working for the trailer path in nfo :)

Thanks Luke!

***Also reconfirmed local trailers download; perfect file name, etc... for XBMC to detect as local trailer.

it's planned ;)

Trailers play wonderfully.

but i noticed for one movie I got playback false, this movie for some reason has 2 trailer urls I dont know what it mean but maybe an option to manually enter the trailer url could be an options for bad linkls

Good point, should have the field in edit (online trailer path).

It would also let users choose manually which online trailer they want in the movie metadata if they're not happy with the one that got fetched...

The way I see it, there are two options:

-@@Luke have an option to run "refresh people" on library updates (in the task triggers)

-Change XBMC to run on intervals instead of "on new media detected"and make sure to reduce "refresh people" intervals to fit in (reducing chances that XBMC will scan nfo without actor images)

-No auto update from XBMC (how I'm configured in XBMC to avoid exactly this kind of issue)

**I would prefer option 1; cleaner...

Refresh people on library updates would be nice.

So after new scan of library and rebuild actors the actors are there but shouldent it update the nfo with the paths ?

IS there a place that documents this plugin yet ? what scrapes what. xbmc set support

Lord of the rings collection (artwork here)

--LOTR movie 1

--LOTR movie to

option 2 movies spread out in directories and one centrel artwork folder.

I would Like to help with this plugin but all I have to offer is test time and design input and my personal scraper preffrences.

tx for all the help and fast help btw (should I give you like, havent really used this forum so dunno)

I noticed movies plot and plot outline is the same even though imdb clearly has both

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443649/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

here is my nfo

<plot><![CDATA[A prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe.]]></plot>
<outline><![CDATA[A prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe.]]></outline>

The first one is the open movie database wich i guess is the api for imdb

second is ThemovieDB

You're right, both duplicates of plot. (tested it both ways)

Does MB3 supports Outline in metadata? (I don't see a field in edit for it).

@@Luke not sure if you can control fetching outline in the NFO if MB doesn't fetch it in the first place.
