Norwegian, but it doesn't seem to matter. As long as the name of the subtitle file is moviename.srt the movie wont play (eventually some error). While if the filename is moviname.anything.srt the movie plays fine.

OK I misunderstood your post, I thought that the Movie/series played but no subtitels. 
I never seen a file not being played because of a missing language tag on the srt.

For quite some time now I have an issue with playing video on Kodi after my Shield TV 2019 wakes from sleep and Kodi is still open.

It does not always happen but often enough it does  happen that when I hit the play button to start an episode I hear it is playing but Kodi remains at page I was and there is no video visual playing but only audio. This can only be fixed by restarting Kodi.

At first I thought this was a Kodi issue but after some testing with the Emby for Kodi (Next gen) disabled it did not happen and I tested more than ones.

This happens to me all the time. Same thing will happen if I leave a video playing and change inputs on my TV. When I return to Kodi it starts playing again but I only get audio. I can bring up the OSD as well but no video. Eventually it will buffer and stop. I don't have to quit Kodi to fix it though, just stoping and starting again brings back the video. It did this when I was using an Nvidia Shield 2017 and still does using the built in Android TV on my new Sony TV.

I suspect this is some sort of EDID issue with the TV itself and not Kodi per say. I don't have any other software that tries to continue playing after sleep or input change so I cant verify that.

Hi Quickmic, Please advise if my thought process make sense, I have Libreelec on Winodws Gen X86 i5, very fast to cache Thumsnails to local drive which make the fanarts etc to load faster when navigating through the movies and Tv shoes collections. What I wanted to do is to transfer or copy the Folder to another Libreelec that is runing on Amlogic as this less powerful and takes forever to cache to local drive,  will this work without causing any issue as both have diff users?

Here are files that I intend to copy as you can see the Thumbails is closed to 9.5gb which a lot of catche

I still have no synchronisation of the music with the .7 experimental! I have already deleted the local DB and had everything read in again. It all helps nothing! What can I do?
With the Beta .6 I no longer had a sync for TV shows.

Oh, I don't know how A guest account on the server, and the IP of the server? Would a port then have to be released in the Fritzbox?

I never tried with different users. Probably it will will work, but you must also copy/replace the texture13.db to your devices.

Yes, I know you server is ok, but your server probably has synced special charterers or something else odd and that's hard to detect from client (next-gen) side.
