I am sure if the cause from the skin helper addon, or E4K, I appreciate if you can advise what should be done if I should report the issue at Kodi forum.

That's very strange, this issue should be ignored... Probably the file is exclusively opened by Kodi (or another plugin) so it's blocked for reading... I have to think about it.

Also I'll perform a test under Windows...

The issue is withTitan skin turned on I can not connect to the server but when I change to other skin for instance conflience e4k will connect to the server. Thanks for looking into this.

Wit the latest experimental the delete option is not working anymore for me.

 

I have added this line to my keymap.xml and has always worked before, until now.

<F5>RunPlugin(plugin://plugin.video.emby-next-gen?mode=delete)</F5><!-- Delete emby item context menu shortcut will activate when pressing "F5" -->

Hi quickmic, hasn't jumped on the 19.X train yet because lots of troubles on release of the stable v19.0.

  • Connection to server resolved
  • Welcome message and
  • Cache all artwork is not working (PLEASE THIS VERY CRITICAL FOR ME IT MAKES NAVIGATING FASTER AS I HAVE LARGE MOVIES COLLECTIONS)
  • There are few repeating errors, not sure if these Kodi or E4K related

Have you enabled Kodi's webinterface? Artwork cache is not working without.

 

The error msgs in the log are not coming from nex-gen or at least not directly, otherwise next-gen would crash. Seems it's a problem with script.skin.helper.widgets

...but I'll doublechecking

It an issue of "script.mode.metadatautils". Multiprocessing function has a bug (probably Windows specific).

This option is always on, but the artwork fanart lagging especially on WAN connection, when I did a cache all it's faster, appreciate if you can reinstall the cache all function.
