Yes but each new stable release is only every month or two, it's not like you'll be doing that every day.

Hello I am setting up my brande new Raspberry Pi4 (4GB) and I have few questions.

I am using RASPBIAN 10 Buster

1. Which installation wy is better/appriopriate

a)

echo 'deb http://download.open...by/Debian_Next/ /' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/emby-server.list

apt-get update

apt-get install emby-server

B)

Should I use mono or amrhf version?

https://emby.media/linux-server.html

Debian Armv7 (armhf)

  1. Download emby-server-deb_4.4.1.0_armhf.deb
  2. dpkg -i emby-server-deb_4.4.1.0_armhf.deb
  3. Open a web browser to http://localhost:8096

2. Any other important things related to Rpi4?

3. How much memory-split in raspi-config for Rpi4 (in Rpi3 it was im not sure but 256mb propably)

Hi, the opensuse repository is obsolete. If you've installed anything from there I would remove all traces.

As far as how to install, i would just see here:

https://emby.media/linux-server.html

Then follow the instructions for the operating system and architecture of the CPU. Does that answer your question?

I am not poweruser.

I see this will gonna work but there's no automatic updates from "apt-get update" this way?

I will have to manually download and install each emby-server-deb_x.x.x.x_armhf.deb version?
