ebr 15342 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 It is not ready for public beta yet. It is in development/alpha testing.

Nefario 0 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 MB3 is pretty close to killer app already. Add the flexibility of MPC-HC and what's left?
moviefan 184 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Is this just in private beta right now or something? If not, where can I download to test out?
crashkelly 62 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 As far as I know it is currently in private beta. We are all waiting on bended knee for its release 1

In the windows world not much but there's a linux server, optimizing efficiency to run either the server or clients on low power devices. Recruiting for raspberry pi, apple tv, google tv, amazon's new cinnamon streaming box. And then I think that if done right, live tv can be more than just a throw in. 1
mata7 44 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 why did you guys decide to go whit vlc and not mpc-hc? vlc don't support any hd sound code to me mpc- hc is more robust player

yardameus 220 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 oh ok sorry my bad, i don't know where i read that you where using vlc, you player will support hd audio code? anyway if you need another tester im at home injure 24/7 and have 3 pc whit different setup I was actually wondering where to bring this up, but you guys may want to edit the MB3 site. Right on the main page in the box describing MBT, it mentions running on vlc. I guess more of an issue once MBT comes out, but I can foresee all the questions involving the same "It's not VLC" response.

MvL 3 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Hi, Is it possible to join the testing team? I have some spare hardware where i want to install Windows Server Essentials with Media Browser Server. I would be nice if i can test also a client to play my favorite movies! I wanted to do this for some time now but time was a bit of trouble. The coming months i have plenty of time to test...
One2Go 105 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) Is it possible to join the testing team? The might have let you if you woud have gotten the team name correct, it is NOT the Testing Team but the Teasing Team Edited October 12, 2013 by On2Go
Luke 38499 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 We have enough help submitting issues right now. We'll let you know if this changes.
LiquidFX 138 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Maybe it will be ready for beta testing by the end of the year, WMC is just so boring compared to MBT
LeftForPlex 8 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Maybe it will be ready for beta testing by the end of the year, WMC is just so boring compared to MBT I'm just tired of TMT5 constantly popping up and asking me for my valid license key over and over and over and over. MBT would solve that. MBT will not provide BluRay menu support though, right?
gcw07 347 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 MBT will not provide BluRay menu support though, right? Correct. At least right now. No idea if that will be something looked at later or not.
