So I have the custom image overlays working but the only problem I'm having is the subtitle flag image (English) doest appear on screen for movies with srt subs. It appears with movies that have pgs subs.

Extra options for to choose. Just rename the ones that you want. 👍🏻

Also added hdr icons - but they are NOT supported at this time. I’m hoping that a future update would include this option - I’m just trying to will it into existence. 😇

We can finally make use of the HDR and DV icons with the latest coverart-beta. Filenames are ext_hdr.png and ext_dv.png.

You probably have enabled the option in the settings before you added the icons. So you have to trigger a regeneration of the covers, by changing settings again, saving, and going back to enable it again.

Did you enable the new feature?

Display where?

As a test does changing the image on a specific hdr/dv movie show it?

Hey folks, the new detection of DV and HDR is a very cool upgrade!

But as far I can report, not all HDR nor DV files are detected correctly.

I don't know what criteria a file has to fulfill to get one of those tags.

I cannot see any difference between my files to find the root cause of that behavior.

I'm curious what the mediainfo sections say for those examples.

Also are you sure there a no errors in the log related to processing those two items?

Have you tried manually changing images on those two items?

I don't see any ERROR in the logs. But I don't know exactly what I have looking for ;)
I generate the mediainfo for the 4 files as attachmentPet Sematary (1989).mediainfo

Pet Sematary (2019).mediainfo 4.95 kB · 0 downloads The Bourne Identity.mediainfo 6.74 kB · 0 downloads THE NUN.mediainfo 5.65 kB · 0 downloads

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant the section at the bottom of each item in Emby (assuming you have that enabled):

I found a solution and another behavior what I need to understand :D

If I switch the position of the tags to force generationg new images it works well:
grafik.thumb.png.2bd78bd32c90a2a2d975aced9f166c8f.png

If I switch back to the lower right position the error come back

How do I force to generate the enhanced images without change the position of the tags?

Delete the folders in cache\images folder.

The cache for the images enhanced by CoverArt and other enhancement plugins is located at '[pathtocaache]/images/enhanced-images/'

All you should have to do is delete the folder and go back to browser/client and navigate to rebuild images.

OK, I got it. deletion was successful but the browser has also cached the images :( emby theater will show the correct rebuilded images.

Sorry for the confusion! awesome plugin with awesome support :)

cheers,

Matthias

Hi.  There should be no difference.  However, if you added external subs to an item after the image was created, you may need to refresh (replacing images).
