I would like to request a sleep timer function for the Emby app.

For example, when a song is playing, it should be possible to quickly and easily set a sleep timer to shut off the song after a desired interval. Options could include 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 120 minutes.

If it had this, I would be happy to purchase Premiere.

For iOS it would be nice but can be done currently within the default Clock app. In the timer section set your time to say 30 mins then set it to ‘stop playing’. Voila.

It would be very nice if we have it as well for Sonos playback and of course in every app.

Please please can this be implemented as it's so essential for audio books and really is a must for a player. Using android app excellent except for this omission, server very very good East to configure.

Pointless arguing/debating/discussing with the Emby devs, so comment has been edited. Comment can be removed.

It's a shame that such a seemingly simple feature doesn't get implemented, making the whole audiobook system useless.

why don't you have a "to do list"

There is one, but it will not be a public one.

that´s a little bit hard ... emby is a very good media station .. but so little things i need more than a feature to skip the intro of series

it is far easier for them to say "good idea" and never do anything about the hundreds of good ideas that people have been suggesting.

Are you sure? Did you see these recent ones?

Hi.  You kind already said it.  There are literally hundreds of "good" ideas.  We're sorry but they cannot all be first and some of them, for various reasons, may take a long time and even never make it into the product.  We have to weigh all of the requests against many factors and choose things we think make the most impact for the most users.

Thanks for your support.

I personally think the emby team is doing a great job prioritising new feature work. This is a good idea but honestly there are so few people that would use it that it makes more sense to work on things that more people would use first.
