Mine always reads: found 14 movies, 0 merges. I have over 50 title movies with 2-3 versions. Why respond to someone who make broad generalizations about something that is, as you say, a feature offered by the community, and follows that up with baseless assertions? I would like to add this feature to emby on my windows pc, I have a lot of movies with duplicates either for 1080p or 2160p, and id like emby to automatically group them. I already had to do that, as my database was working and at sometime during 4.6.x.x beta it stopped bringing in new movies, TV shows, etc.. In fact the AutoCollection.dll 1.0.0.5 was working, and I had to recreate my 3 movie folder as Emby stopped adding new movies into the database when my @arr programs were bringing them in. After that is when the AutoCollection.dll 1.0.0.5 stopped working, and I have tried 1.0.0.8, back to 1.0.0.0, even the 4.x.x.x beta that available on Page1. So I had to manually group all my movies. I even spun a whole-new Emby Docker container, added my movies, all 3 folders, allowed Emby to do all it's downloading and image showing, THEN, I added the Plugin 1.0.0.5 and ran it, and still wouldn't merge them. Also tried the v1.0.0.8 with that same container. Ended up just giving up and manually merged them. The log shows: 0 of 14, but the link below I show 9 movies with multiple versions, and that's just up to letter-A, and I have all Star Wars collection in multiple versions, same with the MCU, so there are over 45-50+ movies that should merge, not 0 of 14. I just stopped my Emby container, renamed it to /emby.bak and re-ran my compose, recreated a new Emby folder, started from scratch. So I thought I had the Star Wars collection in YIFY (crappy quality, but good enough for tablet viewing) and tagged all of them, which the system downloaded and processed fairly quick (under 20mins), and I'LL BE DAMNED, it did it... it grouped the Amazing Spider Man, that I had ungroup earlier when I replied for testing purposes, and now it just merged/grouped all them new ones... well, I guess the version of Emby that I am running at this time, running is c is currently working! For testing purposes, stopped my Emby container, renamed to /emby.bak and re-spun the Emby container, which creates a new one again, as mentioned on an earlier message. Only brought in the same 2 folders, as to not bring in +1,200 movies, but only those in 4k and YIFY quality. Showed all the movies, many duplicates, copied AutoCollections v4.6.0.22.dll into the /plugins folder, restarted Emby and it quickly merged/grouped all the movies as expected. THANKS! I was under the impression that exactly what you did, is what was needed for Emby to show multiple versions. I remember some time ago (years ago), I had my 720 and 1080 movies within the same folder, just named differently Movie-Title [720] or Movie-Title [1080] and Emby would group them for us. When this plugin was released is when I renamed everything back to normal, and had them moved by quality, /Movies [1080], /Movies [4k], and /Movies [YIFY]; thus needing this plugin to do the work for me. but obviously, I could be very wrong regarding how Emby groups it and simply was lucky...heh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for Emby core without the plugin will automatically group multiple items within same folder name and specific filenaming scheme per the KB. Sorry I don't follow as plugin does not care about your structure. It will group the items that Emby identifies as Same per providerid. I was just able to reproduce this. This seems to be a different issue (it is not picking up the movies in the first place). I will look into it.
