File System Organization - HELP

This is not, by any means, an urgent issue. I am just looking to clean up my TV file system & am curious as to what the best method is to do this. By "clean up", I mean sort the shows via category or genre, while keeping them separate on my actual Emby server. My level of intelligence in this sort of thing isn't 100%, but I do have some knowledge in how to make all this stuff flow together & work. Any help would be appreciated.

Background on my server set-up: Using old desktop & two external 4TB drives. I'm looking to optimize the loading time in my file system with this project.

If you really don't want to affect the presentation in Emby then I suggest adding each new "organizational" folder to the respective library as a location.

e.g. If you have:

TV Shows/Comedy

                 /Drama

Then, when you create the library, add "TV Shows/Comedy" and "TV Shows/Drama" both as locations for your TV library instead of just "TV Shows".

That might work. Let me play around with that idea at some point today (I have a bunch of content to transfer to my server from a seperate PC) and I'll let you know. Thanks.
