[FIXED in version 3.4.0.1] Problems with transcoding offline music

Good afternoon, first of all, congratulate yourself for your good work.

 

Quick context: My library has mp3, flac and some m4a. When I synchronize mp3 I do not use transcoding, but the flac files use a lot of space on my phone and I need to convert them to mp3. Up to here everything is correct.

 

I have the problem when I need to set the bitrate to 320Kbps. I have tried several different test and the maximum bitrate I get is 192Kbps.

 

These are the details of the flac that I used to test:

Summary results:

 

In both test 3 and 4, the bitrate is set to 192Kbps. Maybe I'm wrong but my logic tells me that the correct behavior should follow the rules of the following table:

 

Max bitrate: 0.1 -> transconding 96Kbps

Max bitrate: 0.2 -> transconding 192Kbps

Max bitrate: 0.3 -> transconding 256Kbps

Max bitrate: 0.4 -> transconding 320Kbps

Is there any way to configure the details of the transconding? Is there any way to do transconding using a bitrate of 320Kbps? Is this the correct or recommended way to use offline flac? Is it possible to add advanced options for the music transcoding?

I can confirm this bug has been fixed in the version "3.4.0.1 beta" (finally, it wasn't necessary app update :-\)

 

If I set 0.3 or 0.4 in my sync options, flac file will transcode properly to 320kbits MP3.
